The staff were very nice, and the location was very good. But the room looks a little old and the rug and sofa wasn’t clean. Also the lotion and hair conditioner were almost empty and upon my request they said they will refill but they never did.

Nice basic place near everything in downtown boulder. My only complaint was no washcloths (just a couple of towels) and the shower door wouldn't move easily.

Above average Motel
Nice little Motel, super convenient to walk to Park Street or the CU campus. Surprisingly clean and updated, decent sized room with separate room with a hide a bed love seat and second TV. Large bathroom with oversized shower. Really quite surprised that it was as nice as it was for the price. The one downside was the pillows, they were pretty bad.

Conveniently close to downtown on edge of Univ of Colorado campus. Property is an old two-story motel that could use a facelift: rooms were spacious and fully equipped, and bed was comfortable. However, heating unit was noisy and kept turning on and off all night. shampoo and bath gel containers in shower were empty. I asked front desk for more and they gave me shampoo -- but had no bath gel available. I stayed for two nights and room was not cleaned and bed was not made up for second night. Staff were very helpful when asked, and very courteous. As economy lodging, the Inn was okay, but a complete facelift would make it much more appealing.

Freezing. We had end room in end of November. Each room only has a manual wall heater which was turned off, so the room was at best 40 degrees, and the bathroom even colder .. I’m really surprised the pipes didn’t freeze. The heater on full blast only got the room to temp about 5 hours later. Until then we froze in bed fully dressed in down jackets, hats, and two blankets we thankfully had in the car. Tiny parking lot was full so had to park out back which was a trudge through snow.

Decent Enough
Nice rooms, convenient location to Pearl St, but a lot of homeless people nearby. Room temperature was difficult to regulate. Bathroom and shower was brand new.

Ok if you just want a place to crash
It's fine. A little dirty, some broken things, but nothing major. The front desk folks were kind and accommodating. The room had an empty bottle of hand soap and what seemed like water instead of shampoo. The location is convenient for visiting CU, though, and the price is reasonable.

Many pros to my stay at the Boulder University Inn. The staff are most helpful and welcoming. Convenience is also unquestionable as the Denver Airport bus dropped me of less than 300’ from the inn. Next pro is the inn’s location to Pearl St. which for me was a seven minute walk. The inn facility was clean and comfortable with traffic noise never an issue (room 220). I felt the value was good and reasonable. I’ll mention that the room was not serviced during my three-night stay and not a problem. The room offered liquid soap, shampoo, lotion, and conditioner but I found some containers empty so would suggest you bring your own favorites. Wishing you safe travels!

Friendly staff, but hotel room a little attention
The body wash and shampoo dispensers were empty, and there was no bar soap - when I asked for some at the front desk, they were out and said I’d need to get it from housekeeping the next day. Luckily i had some travel shampoo with me that I also used as body wash! The floors/carpeting really needs updating! The staff was nice. A little bit of signage in the room would have been helpful too- indicating coffee etc in the lobby (I didn’t know until the end of me second day) as well as indicating that housekeeping doesn’t come in unless requested.

Not a bad place to stay for the price but the window in the bathroom was stuck open the entire stay and there was excessive noise from another room one night but overall worth it for the price and location would stay again
