"The home was absolutely beautiful with lakefront views all throughout the home. The neighborhood is quiet and very peaceful by the water. There is also lots of nature to view as we saw a beaver on the property and many birds and deer. Overall, very beautiful experience. I would recommend this home to anyone that needs a quiet getaway!!"

"We had a wonderful stay in Tappahannock on the Rappahannock River. Everything in the house was clean and well kept. The space the 5 bedrooms offered gave all us an opportunity to relax. Ashley was extremely hospitable and great to work with! Definitely recommend!!"

"This is a nice, older large house on the lake. It was a good location, right on the lake, and there were enough canoes and floats for the kids to use, with spare life jackets. Our only gripe was that the kitchen was not well-equipped. There were no pots and the pans, knives cookware was really old and unusable. So much so that we went to the local store and bought two pots and a frying pan for our use. One of the upstairs bedrooms did not have any side tables. Where do you put your water glass...

"We loved our stay at this house. It was clean, and was comfortable for our family. The dock was great for fishing. The kayaks were nice to have. One big problem was the arcade game machine did not work like it did last year when we stayed here. I messaged the manager through VRBO but didn't hear back. Our kids were disappointed. Even though we encourage them not to play video games, they really loved it last year and we wanted to come back this year. If it is advertised on VRBO, then steps...

"Right off the highway, comfortable, safe and clean! The only minor issue was the door to the courtyard closes with a loud CLUNK, and my unit was right above it. Know you need to contact the office if you're arriving after 7pm; they will text you lockbox info to get your key. Will stay here again!"

"So nowhere did the Hotels ad inform us that this was a whole RESORT. Like 700 acres of resort with an activity schedule and stuff to do everyday! That was a really cool bonus, but the ad made it seem like a small collection of tiny houses, nothing more. So when i areived at midnight, we had our Uber driver drop us, two adults and 3 children under 8, off at the main building. Thank god for Philip with security!!! He helped see the funny side and empathized with me after the major travel struggles...
