“The inn was beautiful and the amenities were good; however, it lacked some of the niceties that made it really special. For example, the breakfast which was really quite good was served buffet style. The buffet was fine, but nothing was plated. Guests had to grab bread, muffins, and strudel from their plastic containers. Also when Olga made our omelets which were quite delicious, instead of walking the few feet to serve them, she called us to come and get them.

“The grounds, restaurant/bar and rooms were amazing. I would recommend they update TVs to smart ones! As a frequent traveler I enjoy being able to log into my favorite shows when away. The golf course was a surprise!! Staff were excellent. The wineries we visited were all unique and amazing. ”

“We really enjoyed a relaxing stay here. It is located in lovely VA farm/vineyard country with beautiful views from various rooms in the Manor. The accommodations and common areas where beautifully appointed. We didn't have dinner there but the breakfast was substantial and very good (fresh eggs from their chickens apparently!). The staff was warm and gracious always anticipating our needs. They even had a Lucid EV charger that they allowed us to use prior to leaving to allieve my range……

“It was a small cute place with not much happening during my stay. You could only eat the fixed $125 menu for dinner by reservation only which may cater to some. But they did include a nice homestyle break every morning which I loved. I would say they could do a better job at cleaning the windowsills because I saw lots of con webs and dead bugs in my room. Overall, I would come back! Cute cottage getaway.”

“My husband and I had a memorable stay at Villa Maud over New Year. Maud was a gracious host and we very much enjoyed the comforts of our honeymoon villa. Maud is a talented artist and her impressive work adorns the villa. One of the highlights was meeting Tim the donkey”
