Lakeside Haven (Your Cottage Retreat)

Nestled in iconic slew of tree species, while still being conveniently close to downtown Bracebridge. It's a peaceful retreat, where you can enjoy the tranquility of the countryside, yet easily access the excitement and amenities of urban life.

Cottage is a custom build in 2021, and fully furnished.
Includes:
- Three bedrooms. 1x King bed, 1x Queen Bed, 1x Twin Bunk Beds (load capacity: 350lbs per level).
- 1x sofa bed in living room (sleeps 2 adults).
- Two 3-piece bathrooms.
- Fully equipped kitchen features a comprehensive range of appliances, including a refrigerator, freezer, stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, air fryer, and electric kettle.
- Counter height dinning table.
- Living room with smart TV. High speed satellite internet for video streaming.
- Laundry washer & dryer.
- Large deck with outdoor patio table.
- BBQ grill with 4 burners.
- 5-person hot tub. 30 water jets with lighting package.
- Patio area with stone firepit, and Muskoka chairs. Firewood is available on-site.

The cottage was an amazing and beautiful experience! We went in the winter and the cottage had someone plowing the drive way (which I was worried about) so no problems with tending to the weather! The cottage was also very clean and the amenities were amazing! Great trip we want to go back in the summer!

Perfect cottage with all of the ameneties you could need! Very clean, easy to find and just far enough away from town to feel like a true escape.The lake is nice and quiet with only a few other cottages nearby. Water is calm and peaceful, often giving a beautiful mirroring of the surrounding shores.Linens were crisp and clean. Towels and robes were plentiful. The kitchen is very well equipped - a nice open area with a lot of counterspace and a nice selection of properly working and well-maintained appliances. Bring your own pans as the ones on site are few and very well used.The waterfront was under renovation during our stay which wasn't communicated to us until the morning of check-in. Water access was available through a small gap in a low landscaping fence. Being mid fall, this wasn't a massive deal breaker by any means; but it was a nuisance nonetheless and unfortunate in the way it was withheld from us until the last minute.Overall, I can highly recommend this cottage and would definitely consider staying here again in a future trip to Bracebridge.

Great place to stay! The cottage was spotless when we checked in, and the little extras that were included really made the cottage feel like a home away from home. Communication with the host was great, the area had a quick power outage one afternoon and the host was on top of giving us updates as they were getting them; We just took this as an opportunity to go for a canoe trip around the lake so no issues there! The cottage is very modern and well taken care of. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would be happy to stay here again!

We really enjoyed our week-long stay at Lakeside Haven. It was close to nearby towns for visiting and supplies and there was lots of wildlife in the area! The beds were comfortable as were the other seating areas. The cottage was well supplied with essentials and cook ware. We appreciated the canoe and kayaks and used them everyday. A couple of additions would have made our stay perfect:Dressers for people staying a week, window coverings in the bedrooms, a dock(being planned), greater recycling capacity. These inconveniences did not detract from our stay at this lovely place and the best part was the ease of communication with Baja who was responsive, accommodating and understanding.

Beautiful lakeside retreat

Had a wonderful time at Lakeside Haven. Cottage was very clean and had lots of space for the whole family. Outdoor deck and fire pit was great and so nice to have all the water toys included (kayaks, canoes, life jackets, etc.). So close to downtown bracebridge and other local spots like Santa’s village for easy day trips.

The property is lovely -- and just like the listing said it was: modern, spacious and well appointed. The location is excellent: on the lake, lots of space to unwind outside, and close to Bracebridge. One small thing: bring a sleep mask if you wake up when there sun comes out -- there are no curtains on the windows.

Marvellous family vacation

We had a truly wonderful vacation with my husband, mom, and grandma—it was such a special reunion after three years apart! The cottage exceeded all our expectations. This cottage was above amazing! A beautiful winter retreat, they have everything you need to enjoy a relaxing weekend from a fantastic hot tub to some cozy robes to keep you warm. A lovely cottage and a super spot. The house has amazing views over the lake for bedrooms and living spaces. A great seating area with fire pit close to the shore was well used and we managed to explore the lake in the canoes provided in the garage. There are no children’s buoyancy aids so best bring your own to avoid some upset little ones.

We stayed just after Labor Day, everything was very quiet. The water was surprisingly warm. The lake is a good size and we had fun kayaking around. The entrance to the lake was a bit mucky, maybe due to recent rain. Hot tub was amazing. The cottage itself was spotless, and had every amenity you could have thought of and more.

Long Weekend Getaway

The perfect cottage for a friends weekend getaway! Baha was a great host and great with communicating. The checkin was seamless and wow what a gorgeous cottage! Family getaway

This is a fantastic accomodation for anyone looking for a beautiful, well-equipped new cottage nestled in a quiet, forested location. It is on a quiet lake that is great for canoeing and Kayaking (both of which are provided for your use). The deck overlooking the water is great and all the solar lighting creates a beautiful ambiance at night, especially while soaking in the hot tub. A dock to enjoy the sunshine a little longer throughout the day and to by-pass the few weeds near the shore would make this a perfect 5 across the board. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Quiet Oasis

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful property. All the amenities were top notch and the views from inside the cottage are breathtaking thanks to the large windows throughout the cottage. The lake, while peaceful and quiet was still large enough to spend the entire day canoeing or kayaking and plenty of good fishing spots. There is no dock on the property however launching a canoe or kayak was easy thanks to the sandy and shallow shoreline. Dog loved it, we loved it. Thanks for the wonderful stay.
