“We stayed 3 days in the room with the private terrace and hot tub which could be enjoyed even in the middle of winter. The pub itself was very welcoming with very good lunch and evening meals and an excellent breakfast. Dogs were also made welcome with an outside area exclusively for them, but it is a shame not all dog owners apprecited this and were not responsible for cleaning up after them. If in the summertime should the pub or the very nice large public gardens get crowded all residents……

I love the fact that the hotel is a historical building and preserved so well from the inside and outside. Highly recommend to stay there while you visit Stonehenge, Old Sarum & Saisbury Cathedral.”

“Very friendly welcome into a gorgeous country, cozy pub with roaring fire in lounge. Really lovely bedroom, nicely decorated, clean and very comfortable bed. Just a lovely atmosphere. Restaurant food looked amazing although we ate out as meeting family in the area. Breakfast was lovely ”
