Three day getaway

Our group of six enjoyed our stay at wolves den. There was plenty of room. The views are beautiful and it is close to town. Unfortunately, the shuffleboard does not work and the house needs a little TLC. Would be nice if there were screens on the window, so you could actually open the windows to let the fresh air in as there is no air conditioning.

Won't book it again.

We had several issues. As mentioned in another review the place needs some TLC. It shouldn't be listed on VRBO until safety and functionality items are addressed. Local Vasa team was good.

Good it’s extremely accurate.

WiFi was not working so no tvs no iPads no phones. The disposal also was not working. All this was communicated they tried to fixed but continue not working. Don’t think about early check in or late check out, also will not happen. Check in 4pm and check out 10am. On our group we had 2 pregnant women and 2 babies the time for check out was really hard. The window blind on the master bedroom was not working so we had to leave open all the week. Location was good and amenities good but that’s it.

Upkeep and maintenance needs to be addressed

The house is in need of enough upkeep and maintenance that I contacted Vacasa so I would not be charged for any damage we found when arriving. We had no shovels or ice melt onsite or in the shed to help dig out the end of the driveway after the plows cleaned the street. Neighbors were very helpful in this regard which they were certainly not obligated to do. Vacasa finally sent shovels and ice melt on the last day of our week long stay. We left a message for help with tools so we could remove snow with the onsite contacts listed and neither returned our call. The cleaning crew needs to do much better with disposing of open and perishable food left in the pantry which we found upon arriving and the floors left our feet and socks very dirty by the end of the day despite not wearing our shoes in the house. This home is in a great location with beautiful views but our overall stay was disappointing.
