Really fantastic little B&B, great hosting from Paula and Glenn. Luxurious, brilliant locally sourced breakfast, in house honesty bar for a nightcap. Centrally located in Brecon. Parking in public car parks adjacent to the property.

Comfortable, spotless and friendly
Faultless, friendly hosts, spotless, comfortable room with absolutely everything you would need, amazing breakfast with lots of choice, the only thing I would change would be the fruit juice which was from concentrate. Would absolutely recommend and we will return.

Thank you for your great review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. With regard to the fruit juice, we are just too small to be able to afford to supply freshly squeezed fruit juice every morning and it would just go to waste so its neither an affordable way or socially acceptable to have such waste. We have been told our orange juice and apple juice are very good and we did do blind testing to find the best on the market. We also used to buy local apple juice but then the price went up to £2 for a small bottle for one person and that is just too expensive. Thank you for your comments though, we really appreciate them.

Luxury in the Brecons
An absolutely stunning boutique B&B. Every single detail from the luxuriously decorated rooms, superb bed, fluffy towels, crisp linen sheets to the fabulous breakfasts cooked to perfection and gorgeous guest lounge and dining room screams 7 star hotel. After a hard day hiking on the hills it was the perfect setting to wind down and relax in the huge bath tub in Castle Keep attic bedroom. Highly recommend and will definitely be back again. Amazing weekend, fabulous hosts, just wonderful!!

One of the nicest guesthouses I have ever stayed in. Great service and food. Beautiful room at top of house with bath to die for. Brilliant base for Brecon Beacons National Park. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay
Had a lovely break at this B&B, Paula and Glenn were very welcoming. They provide a lovely breakfast to start the day (Full Welsh Breakfast is recommended). They were able to give us some tips on where to go in the area when we were making our plans for the weekend. Location wise it's just on the edge of the town centre so only a couple of minutes from the local shops and restaurants. Would happily stay here again.

Fabulous place to relax in Brecon
Paula and Glen have created a wonderful, glamorous yet homely place to stay in Brecon. The decor is bold and stylish and we loved our room and the lounge area in particular. Our hosts have thought of everything and nothing is too much trouble. Our stay was perfect in every respect.

A hub to explore, friendly and welcoming
We had a very nice stay at the Town House. Very welcoming and helpful throughout. Room was very clean, spacious and had good views. Breakfast was very good, a nice selection of fruits, cereals, yoghurts and cooked. Unfortunately all restaurants where closed but where offered a cheeseboard for two which was great value. Small touches like their own pickles, welshcakes on arrival and directions for their favourite walks showed the lengths they go and pride they have in their business. Will definately recommend and come back.

The only negative point for me was not having the option to pay all in advance. Due to the card I've used to book ( it was a swiss site then I've used a swiss card ) and taking into account that in the meantime they've taken an advance payment and then back again they've paid themselves the rest with the same card, I've ended paying more than the advertised price. A real shame because the BB is good.

Hi, We always take a £20 deposit to preauthorise your card but if you had spoken to us during your stay the remainder, which is due on the morning of departure. could have been taken off an alternative card. Also if you had contacted us before your arrival, or made a note on your booking confirmation, we would have been very happy to take the whole payment in advance. This was an issue that could have been sorted out very easily with a little communication. We are really sorry that you ended up paying more than our advertised rate. We hope you enjoyed your stay with us though :) Paula

Delightful place to stay
The Town house is a delightful, three bedroomed boutique bed and breakfast. It is tastefully decorated to a high standard and is very comfortable. The added bonus in comparison to other b & b’s is the guest lounge with honesty bar, this is a lovely room, made very atmospheric by the Christmas tree, twinkling mantel lights and roaring log fire, furnished much like a country house lounge. The honesty bar is well stocked, with a number of options including spirits, beers, prossecco and associated mixers, with glasses available for all. There is one breakfast table which enables you to chat with other guests and the usual breakfast options are available though many are organic and obviously locally sourced. The host does ask you to make breakfast choices the night before outlining the time that you wish to attend for breakfast and this is done via mini menu’s labelled individually with your name. The venue is well situated within easy walking distance of all town amenities, however as there are no parking facilities you do need to park in nearby pay and display car parks (reasonably priced at £3.40 for the day). As the name indicates, this is a town house, so all guest rooms are accessed via stairs, therefore it is not suitable for those with mobility issues. In all other respects it is a delightfully well appointed place to stay with a friendly and welcoming host
