「Ferry (Han's friend/helper) was so kind and welcoming. He helped us carry our bags into the boat and oriented us to living on the boat. He even put some drinks in the fridge to welcome us. He was very responsive to questions. The boat was beautiful. You can see a lot of love went into the craftsmanship. The beds were very comfortable - great mattress toppers meant we slept really well! 「Ein Stern ist selbst zu viel!!! Achtung - Betrug!!! Das Boot was angeboten wird gibt es zwar aber wird ausschließlich bei booking angeboten. Wir standen vor nichts in Zaandam und mussten erst da hin fahren von Expedia aus bis wir Ersatz bekommen haben. Da hatten wir bereits 25,-€ Bahngeld bezahlt, was Expedia nicht interessiert hat. 「It was our first time staying on a boat, and it was a great experience! The boat is anchored in a calm spot surrounded by nature, yet it’s only a short trip to the bustling Amsterdam city center. Our host Casey was very friendly and helped us settle in right away. We felt very welcome and can warmly recommend this accommodation if you’re up for a little adventure.」

The heated bathroom floors were one of our favorite details, but also the porch is a perfect slice of charm, the milk frother for the coffee is a lovely touch, the hidden tv (with Netflix), a great book of neighborhood suggestions…and the bed was very comfortable and large (which is a rare luxury in the area). 「We were very impressed with the host’s communication! The boat has a prime location with the feel of full immersion into daily Dutch life, super quiet nights with close proximity to all of the activity in the city center. The most unique experience either of us have ever had in the Netherlands and most certainly both of our favorite trips! Thank you so much!」

"Overall, I had a great stay. The design of the hotel was stylish and thoughtfully curated—modern, with a sophisticated color palette that I really loved. The only downside was the noise from the room above. Every late night and early morning, I could clearly hear footsteps overhead, and even the ceiling light fixture in my room would rattle with a metallic or glass-clinking sound. It was quite unsettling and affected my rest. If the sound insulation between floors could be improved, it would make the experience so much better. That said, the aesthetic of the space was beautiful, and I truly appreciated the hotel’s unique and elevated design. "

"I really love this hotel! It’s very eco-friendly, comfortable, and smells great. The design is so stylish, and I truly enjoy everything about it. The only thing that really bothered me was the occasional light knocking sound on the walls throughout the day. It especially affected my sleep at night. Also, the pillows were too soft for my preference. If I have the chance, I’d love to stay here again, but I hope the knocking sound won’t happen next time. Thank you!"
