This is an ideal location - close to everything, yet on a private road. Here you are about a 5-6 min walk to family friendly Linnell Landing Beach - gorgeous at high tide or low, with unbeatable sunsets! Calm, shallow bay waters beckon a high tide swim and at low tide sand flats and tidal pools stretch before you to walk, play and explore. You will also be minutes to the Cape Cod Rail Trail to bike, walk, run, whenever you like! After dinner take a short walk to Cobies for an ice cream--a long time family classic!

You'll also be a few minutes drive to restaurants, clam shacks, mini golf, shopping, Ocean Edge Resort and The Captains Golf Course.

You'll be in a family neighborhood, with a giant enclosed screen porch to enjoy rain or shine, a covered patio for summer breezes, central AC, an enclosed outdoor shower, and a large front and private back yard to play in---all hard to find features---and yours to enjoy!

Our second stay, very happy here

We loved this place so much that we returned again and were thrilled to be back. The property is still wonderfully kept and the owners have made some lovely updates since our last stay. Everything about this home was just perfect for our family and we made wonderful memories here, and we're already looking forward to the next time we come back to this lovely home. Nancy was very responsive when I had a minor issue (and the issue was 100% mine and not the house's!) Thank you for your hospitality!

Amazing stay

We had a great week at Nancy's house in Brewster! The booking and check-in process was easy and Nancy was very responsive to all of our questions. The house was just the right size for our family and we especially loved the screened in porch and the yard. The house is on a quiet, peaceful street but also just a 10 minute walk (or 1 minute drive) to the beach, and within short driving distance of everything we needed for a great vacation (groceries, CVS, restaurants, etc) and also very close to beautiful Nickerson State Park. The local beach was great for little kids with the low tides and gentle waves. The house was very clean and comfortable. We loved the outdoor shower and did not use the indoor shower once! We made lots of great memories and hope to come back and stay at Nancy's house again.

Just perfect!

We loved our stay in this house. It was very clean and had great outdoor space. Loved being so close to the beach though didn’t find it walkable with a toddler (though we saw many people making the trek!). It was great being so close to Cobies, too!

Lovely stay

We had a lovely time at the Flying Mist in July. The beach is wonderful and just down the road. The property was as described. We really enjoyed the screened in porch area as well as the outdoor area. The inside was a little rustic, no couch and not a ton of comfortable seating, but that worked for us as it helped our kids stay away from the tv and outdoors.

Such a great place

We enjoyed a wonderful week in Brewster. This is a great vacation spot, with a terrific location. There is so much to do nearby: perfect beach a walk away, bike trail, and great restaurants. The property is a great place to relax with a nice front patio in a quiet neighborhood.

Great location!

This is really a great location! We love Linnell Landing Beach. We had family staying a half mile away on Crosby lane. You can walk from one beach to the other with a short 6 minute beach walk. The air conditioning is a window unit but does cool the whole space if you leave the bedroom doors open. The outdoor space and screened in porch were awesome. Be aware that you need to bring your own sheets and towels, this is typical for the Cape but we didn’t catch that in the listing. We have family on the Cape so it was an easy fix for us thankfully. The kitchen is very nicely stocked, everything seemed new, and there were hand towels. Communication with host and check in process couldn't have been better.

Perfect Cape getaway

A beautiful home in a lovely, quiet neighborhood and SUPER close to the beach. The house had all the amenities we needed and lovely extras (the sunroom and the outdoor shower were especially amazing). The house is lovingly kept and maintained, hosts were great and very helpful, we could not have been happier here. Thank you!

Awesome vacation

Clean, comfortable, and great beach

This was our second year and we hope to be back for more. Nancy's home is clean and well equipped with anything you'd need on a family beach vacation. We love Linnell at high and low tide, take full advantage of the proximity to the bike trail, and the many local restaurants. It's also convenient to the Orleans grocery stores. The kitchen is very well stocked, the grill is great, the outdoor shower is really perfect and all you need at the end of the day... We never even bother with the indoor shower. The front porch is great for relaxing and the screened in porch is easily our favorite place in the home and where we enjoy all our meals. We hope to be back again.

Comfortable, easy, beach trip

This trip was during the covid-19 pandemic and I came ready to reclean or re-wipe down everything, but it wasn't needed. The home was spotless! The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to cook all our meals comfortably and has since been updated from this listing - all new cabinets, a new microwave and dishwasher. The beach was a walk or short bike ride away, but after a few bike rides up that hill pregnant with a toddler on a bike seat, we opted for my husband to drop us off and bike back (which was so amazingly convenient). We took full advantage of the beach chairs and beach cart. Cobies was great for an afternoon ice cream treat. The rooms were all comfortable and fit us all easily (2 adults and 3 kids 2-6 years old). The outdoor shower was great. The front porch was relaxing amongst the hydrangeas and the screened patio was great .. we ate all our meals here or out front. There was no AC and we were fine with the fans as the windows are everywhere and provide a cross breeze. All in all we would highly recommend a stay at Nancy's home and hope she will welcome us back in the future.

Very pleasant stay.

Our stay in Nancy’s home was very pleasant. A great location, quiet and safe neighborhood. Short walk to beach (8-10 minutes). Few minutes walk to delicious Cobie’s (lobster shack and ice cream). Short drive to bowling and mini putt. Cute cottage. Lots of windows that remained open all week. We really enjoyed the covered front porch for morning coffee and screened in side porch for family lunch and dinner. Great outside shower with space for clothes and towels. Small kitchen but well equipped. Very little space for dry food (pantry). No dishwasher. Washer-dryer are in the basement, access is on side porch. The beach is really wonderful. White sand. Very safe for family with young children. High and low tide are great for swimming and long walks. The water temperature is perfect. If you want waves, you can take a 15-20 minutes drive to the ocean beaches. It’s about 10 minutes drive to supermarkets. We recommend Nancy’s cottage and would definitely love to come back again in the future.

The cottage is small but has everything you need for the perfect vacation! —Clean bedrooms (1 with bunks, 1 with 2 twins, 1 with a full bed, plus a very nice queen-sized futon in the main living room) —Amazing outdoor space - large private backyard, covered front porch, and very large screened in side porch with big dining table and another sitting area. —Outdoor shower, grill, washer/dryer, etc. — Pleasant walk to the white sand beach or the lobster roll/ice cream joint —Small but complete kitchen, no dishwasher —Living room with futon couch and 2 comfy chairs (more seating on side porch) —Small dining table inside, larger one on side porch 3 notes - the washer/dryer is in the basement with VERY steep stairs down, some people may not be able to navigate them. Also the beach is a bit of a walk, elderly or very young may need to be driven/dropped off, or you may need to buy the parking pass. It’s a pleasant walk but there are a few small hills and you should check the distance if someone in your group has mobility issues... Also no AC. We found it fine with just the fans and some nights were even cold the week we were there, but just be aware. We had a wonderful time and definitely recommend this cottage!

Clean & Cozy

Close proximity to a beautiful beach, we dropped off our chairs and cooler and walked back and forth when needed throughout the day. The house was very clean, storage in each room. The screened porch is a great place for family to eat and play games while the wicker seating area was where we read and just hung out. Fans were in each room and did a great job keeping the bedrooms cool at night. Washer/dryer is in the basement, not ideal, but it's very nice to have clean, dry beach towels each day. Nancy was great about answering any questions I had before our arrival and even had a welcome note with helpful information when we arrived.She left her cell number if we had any concerns during the week.
