“We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house for a friends reunion. The house is charming, comfortable, with great communal areas and cosy bedrooms. It’s well placed near a train station, and a great walk. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub which created a great atmosphere and kept us warm in winter.”

“We were celebrating my wife’s 70th birthday, and wanted comfortable and special accommodation for family members and friends. We also wanted to be able to enjoy a grand meal together for up to 14 of us. Compton House was perfect for us - a very unusual and lovely property. Our host was very responsive and very helpful in every way. Thank you so much Patricia, we really enjoyed our stay in your beautiful house.”

“Great stay in Midsomer Manor! House is a great size, we had 11 people in the house and it didn’t feel at all cramped or lacking in space. The house is clean, tidy with a little added extra of some essentials when we arrived. Kids absolutely loved the pool room, the addition of some kids toys, board games, books and DVD’s were a nice touch. Rooms were all large and spacious, towels a plenty and having two upstairs bathrooms was perfect for a large group of people. This house has everything you……

“Overall great place. Nice yard, comfortable couches, plenty of space. Upstairs rooms get hot during the hottest part of the summer. Back doors don't open. But overall our family loved staying there. ”

“Property is in a quite area of Cardiff with very good bus links into town with easy check in plus we asked for an earlier check in which was agreed and we were very grateful for that. The property had everything we needed also with WiFi. Thank you Paul & Lorraine”

“As described, convenient location to everywhere you can walk to in Cardiff. Property was clean, comfortable, air a bit smokey. Keeping the windows open helped alleviate the smell by the 2d day. “Lovely house, extremely well-equipped, and with the most genial hosts you could wish for.We had two weeks at Little Owl Barn in July/August 25, and found it to be really comfortable, with everything you could need (in fact the most amount of kitchen equipment of any house we've rented), in a lovely setting. Very conveniently close to Wellington and Taunton, whilst still completely in the countryside.The hosts are fantastic: really friendly and approachable.We would totally recommend this place……
