We had trouble before check-in as they phoned at 4:30pm to say the twin room was cancelled. After much argument they gave us 2 singles. The rooms were dirty and smelt damp. Breakfast was non existent. Would not recommend.

Room was in a poor state. Cracked sink, missing shower door handles, no plug, ripped net curtains, kettle lead too short that boiling the kettle was a hazard. No light in the hallway which was not replaced even after being made aware - another health and safety issue. Overall, we should have gone to Premier inn for the same price. Great location and it could work as a budget hotel but there were NO STAFF literally - you call a number but they dont always answer. Door codes dont work. Very frustrating. I got in but i met two travellers who couldnt access their room.

Ich war total geschockt: Völlig verdreckter Teppich, Schimmelpilz an der Wand. Ich hab in der obersten Etage gewohnt, ohne Aufzug. Es tropfte von der Wand. Als ich das reklamierte, hiess es, dass sie mir kein anderes Zimmer geben können. Es war ein Rattenloch. Bereits on der ersten Nacht, lief eine Person immer an meinem Zimmer auf und ab und in der zweiten Nacht, versuchte jemand ins Zimmer zu gelangen. Vielen Dank an die Polizei von Bristol, die mich da rausgeholt haben. Das hat mich völlig traumatisiert.

The room was absolutely disgusting, it had a huge hole in the wall with damp. No natural lighting and main lights broken, so a tiny lamp was provided that did nothing. The room was scorching hot as was in the attic. When i tried to move rooms, the receptionist was unhelpful offering no alternatives. I could not sleep there so had to check out and check into somewhere else on the night, wasting the cost of three nights. Currently waiting for the complaints team to get back to me but that isn't looking promising so far. Avoid at all costs.

The checking in was done on line, but there was a receptionist available when I arrived. The room I was given was adequate, at best. The carpets were stained and the shower door fell off the rails when I tried to gently close it. There were Silverfish on the floor of the shower room. I complained and was given a different room. This was better, but the carpets were heavily stained and there was an unpleasant odour in the room. The breakfast which was provided was poor, I am allergic to dairy and gluten and, apart from fruit, there was nothing I could have. The fridge, for yoghurts, also had ice cream tubs of unknown meat casserole and half bottles of drinks. This is completely inappropriate use of the fridge. Overall, I was very disappointed with the facilities offered.

I cant tell you about the stay because on the day of the booking i called to check on parking and was was told by hotels.com that the parking was full and i would have to find parking elsewhere. I have a van and couldn't park anywhere. I asked Hotels.com to cancel my booking but for some reason, that didnt happen. I was asked to ring the hotel, i rang at least 10 times but they never answered and the one time they did, they couldnt tell me anything as the booking ref from Hotels.com was not one that they recognised. They constantly sent me messages about how was my check in and others that didnt make sense. They said that they tried to call me but i had no missed call from them. They even asked me to review the hotel!!! I never stayed there. Hotels.com have now asked me to cancel the hotel or i may get extra charges!!! The date has now passed and the service or lack of, from both the hotel and hotels.com has been the worst i have ever experienced when booking through hotels.com. No one talks to you anymore, I am seriously thinking about moving my business elsewhere.
