「Hidden gem!」

「Hotel great but breakfast menu was only good and dining area far too small for number of customers especially when some come to drink coffee while reading a novel」

「We originally booked the super 8 hotel across the street and were saved by the holiday inn. The staff was curious, the hotel was clean and inviting, the pool was large and well organized, the restaurant was a breath of fresh air with a lovely menu and separate bar area. Bathrooms were large and clean sign updated brands for complimentary products. Would highly recommend only staying here if you’re in the area.」

「First, the TV didn't work in my room. I tried another room and the internet didn't work. The Internet was very spotty. Going out several times during the evening and reestablishing a connection required a full sign on each time. Second, the sheets were very itchy. I examined the bed very closely and there were no bedbugs but I supect that the laudry soap used to clean the sheets was too harsh.」

「You have an amazing staff at the overworked check-in/bar/restaurant area. The day we checked in, 2 people were working an extremely busy time - serving guests drinks and food, checking in new arrivals, and cleaning up the area. The two young guys working during our evening there were definitely doing the work of at least 4 people. They still provided friendly, helpful customer service and cheerful dispositions. 「The Schenectady county fair was being held right outside the hotel. It was a disaster to get into the hotel parking lot because of road closures for the fair. The music was extremely loud in the rooms until 10:30 PM. Toms of people just lingering, smoking pot in the parking lot and entrance, The hosts were great, the rooms and grounds were clean but very old and worn. The breakfast ladies were phenomenally friendly and helpful. It should have been shared with guests that the fair would...

「It is a small hotel - 4 floors - and is in need of better maintenance. Wallpaper was peeling in our room and one of the USB bedside ports was broken/useless. Staff didn't clean our room the first day. It was an OK stay but nothing to write home about. It is not a bad place to stay but don't expect world-class accommodations. Grounds were well maintained.」

「Very peaceful. I enjoyed waking in the morning to the sound of gentle breezes blowing through the fields of tall grass and the aroma of breakfast wafting up the stairs to our bohemian decor room. Host was so gracious and offered a perfect blend of pleasant engaging conversation yet respects her guests’ desire for undisturbed quiet time as well. Grounds are beautiful and offer backyard activities and meditative space.」
