"This was the start of our trip. My father traced his ancestors back to the area and wanted to see it and see if he could learn any more information. The house was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. We only spent the first two days of our trip here, and we all agreed we could have spent more. We hope to travel back another time from the USA and have a little more time to check things out. When the time comes, we’d love to stay here again."

Die Wohnung ist für max. 4 Personen ausgeschrieben, ich würde jedoch dringend davon abraten, tatsächlich mit 4 Personen anzureisen, denn das "Kinderzimmer" und Wohnzimmer sind sehr eng. "Unserer Aufenthalt in Greetsiel war erholsam und angenehm. Wer Abstand und Ruhe vom Großstadtdschungel sucht, ist in Greetsiel genau richtig. Das kleine Fischerdorf ist nicht überlaufen von Restaurants oder anderer Geschäfte und doch hat man im Grunde alles was benötigt wird. Das FE-WO befindet sich in einer Top Lage. 3 - 4 Min. zu Fuss, wenn überhaupt, befindet man sich gleich am Fischerhafen und keine 10 Min. an den Restaurants, Bäcker, Eisdiele, Bank usw. "Schöne Einzimmerunterkunft in abgelegener Lage. Man benötigt ein Auto oder Fahrrad um mobil zu sein, aber wenn dies einen nicht stört, kann man die Orte Dornumersiel und Norddeich gut erreichen. Man sollte damit rechnen, dass gelegentlich neu ankommende Gäste der Wohnungen an der Rückseite des Hauses versuchen reinzukommen, da es die erste Tür mit zu erkennender Schlüsselbox ist. Das Internet ist nur mittelmäßig, wenn überhaupt vorhanden."

"Amazing hotel. Situated right in the centre of town, free breakfast (inc sparkling wine) along with pool and sauna which were great for relaxing. Dinner at the hotel was also great and good value of 3 courses for €49. Very clean and modern the only criticism would be there is no air conditioning in the bedrooms in the main building therefore the rooms were very hot. "
