A very spacious house with plenty of room for 3 generations (including kids/teenagers).

A very spacious house with plenty of room for 3 generations (including kids/teenagers). Comfortable beds, plenty of hot water and a well stocked kitchen. The lawn is lovely for cricket/football but the smaller kids loved the woods and built a den (they spent hours in here playing). We enjoyed visiting Beverley, York Maze, the Air Museum, Castle Howard (excellent adventure playground here), York (Minister, Cliffords Tower, Jorvik Museum, Van Gogh Immersion, River Cruise, Dungeons). Others did the steam train from Pickering to Whitby and some beach days. These are all within a hours drive. The only downside, there is a pig farm next door so depending on which way the wind blows, there is quite the rural smell outside. We just had to keep the doors/windows closed.
