“We had a lovely holiday here, we stayed for 7 nights. The views were fantastic, although the climb to the apartment was hard for us because we are an elderly couple, but you are made aware of the steps but the views are worth it.the apartment was clean and tidy and had everything you needed, the water was lovely and hot for a shower, the bed was so comfortable it was better than the one I had at home, because I have a bad back, but this bed left me feeling much better on a morning. “Right in the heart of the Barbican this is a lovely modern apartment in a historic looking building. I loved that the hallway and stairs that lead to the apartment, and the apartment itself were adorned with the artwork of a local artist. Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay!”

“Facilities were well organised and everything was as described. Bed was comfortable. Only downside wife me was that the carpet needs a clean, it is getting sticky under foot. Otherwise all good.”

“The steps you encounter are not mentioned. And are near vertical. A ladder brings you up to the back garden. The door to the property is the only way in or out and the only daylight. Steps down to the kitchen. 3 foot fall to bathroom and dungeon style chamber. Lightning is extremely limited and everything is painted black. No steps provided to get into bed. Great if you’re in your 20’s and don’t want to sleep. Great if you want a swinging party of 6 guests. Not great if you’re in your 50’s……

“The small aparentment type house was wonderful to stay in and felt very homley, the sceary around the house too was gorgeous, plus the property manager had a cat which is just bonus points would rate 10 stars if possible for the cat alone. The property manager was also very kind and spoke clearly. Both my partner and i very much enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again.”

“The accommodation was disappointment. Not only did I find that there was an addition £12.50 to pay for parking at the property, which was not specified in the booking. The property is clearly advertised as having doors that open from the lounge to the outside sea front. On arriving at the property I found the doors from the lounge locked and no key available to unlock them. When calling the reception I was told that they had been locked for "security" reasons and could not be opened. It appears……

“Perfect apartment, clean, central, well equipped. Paid parking just opposite (busy and costs 14 per 24h but close by). Very comfortable beds. Great views from lounge/kitchen and main bedroom. Quiet despite being so central. Would definitely book again. ”

“Great location for a wander down into Kingsbridge for breakfast before heading out for the day. Close to the places we wanted to visit. Property extremely clean and modern. I hadn’t really realised the impact of the slanted roof so Chris banged his head a few times! We felt next time we would happily pay the bit extra to stay in one of your bigger properties so we have windows, an outlook and more ventilation. That is not criticising The Loft as we enjoyed our stay and it had everything in……
