The apartment is located in the heart of downtown, but in a quiet street.
Located on the first floor of a beautifully restored old building right next street to the famous shopping street of Downtown Budapest (Vaci street, 5th district). The area has just gone through a major renovation and facelift and is now the most beautiful and up and coming area of the downtown region. Reduced auto traffic and pedestrian only streets all around. The metro stop 'Ferenciek tere' is just 200 m away.
The windows of the apartment look onto an inner romantic courtyard, providing a quiet atmosphere. Cleaned professionally before each guest.
Taxi service available upon request to and from airport (EUR 35.-)/one way.
Price includes all costs (cleaning, internet, heating, etc), there's nothing extra to be paid. The calendar is always up to date, you can book your dates right away.

Stepping out of the building you will find restaurants, wine bars, shops.
With a few minute walk you will reach the famous Central Market (Vasarcsarnok on Fovam ter), from there walk across the bridge over the Danube to reach Gellert bath all within 15 minutes. If you want to walk the other direction, you will reach the Basilica and the Opera within 15 minutes seeing beautiful buildings, shops, restaurants on the way or you can take the metro for 1 stop.

I will provide you with a 'house manual' that will make your life easier with a list of recommended restaurants and I will be personally happy to assist you on your way to explore Budapest.

I recommend this place for 2 persons who like to be where there's lots to see and yet able to retreat to a quiet hideaway after a long day of sightseeing, shopping..

建物は古いと思いますが部屋はすごく清潔に清掃されていて、快適に過ごせました。部屋の温度も寒くなくて安心に過ごせました。立地もいろんな交通手段を使いやすい場所ですごく便利です。建物全体が停電するトラブルがありましたがオーナーの方も迅速に返答いただけて、問題なく過ごせました。また機会があれば利用したいなと思える滞在でした。

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.This apartment is in an absolutely perfect location with many restaurants and cafes nearby.Even though Budapest is a big city we were able to walk everywhere we went except for the cheap Uber to and from the train station.Communication with our host Andrew was excellent and he even checked in on us and offered some good dining recommendations.There is one single winding staircase to get to the apartment with no lift but most people wil have no problems.We had a great stay here in a great city!

The virtues of this rental are: its quiet, pleasant neighborhood, short walks to many nice restaurants, proximity to many notable sites and easy access to cruise line docks. We found the neighbors friendly, and in general experienced good will from people all about. One got the feeling of how life would be living in downtown, historic Budapest, which we very much enjoyed.

Great location for our stay , very clean apartment if not a little dated , access is up a spiral staircase which is not for everyone .All shops and restaurants on the doorstep.Unfortunately we could hear every footstep from the apartment above especially throughout the night !!However excellent help from the host on checking in.

The propery was in a very good location. Approximately 10 mins to the Danube in one direction or less than 10 minutes to the town centre in the opposite direction. There was all the necessary items in the apartment for a enjoyable stay. Andrew was a perfect host. If you had any questions or queeries he was on hand via WhatsApp. He gave perfect instruction for entering the building and the apartment the day before arrival.The only thing i would mention is the court yard. This really needs to be better lit up and the outdoor spiral staircase you need to climb to get to the apartment is narrow and steep. Not good when carrying luggage. Definitely recommend.

Excellent location!

The apartment was in an excellent location and the price seemed like a great value. The host was very quick communicator with great instructions for efficient check-in. Inside the apartment needs some attention. Some thorough deep cleaning (inside drawers, cabinets etc), small investment in some necessary maintenance (shower drain backs up and the entry door handle is about to fall off) and upgrading towels, pillows, shower curtain etc would have allowed a five star rating. I gave four stars because of location and it’s possible nobody has shared these issues with the host. If not resolved the apartment should be rated a three star going forward.

A quaint and comfortable apartment in a charming neighbourhood. It’s well set up for a short stay, with the owner available by txt for any assistance.However, a narrow spiral staircase to the front door on first floor may suit younger clients.

L’immeuble est délabré. Il y avait 4 cages à rats dans la cour intérieure. La cour intérieure était très sale. L’escalier pour monter à l’appartement terriblement sale, vitres cassées, toiles d’araignées partout… l’annonce dit « romantique ». On devrait au moins retirer ce mot. L’alèse du lit était très sale, toute tachée.

Great location with everything in the room and surrounding neighborhoods

Spent 5 days and it was just perfect. The only catch is there is a winding staircase to the 1st floor room. It adds to the experience but be prepared. Room had everything you might need and the bed was comfortable.

Perfect location to roam around Budapest!

Apartment was secure and just off the beaten path. It was an excellent location for sightseeing and eating. We walked all over the city and felt safe when we came back. There is also a small local bar directly across the street just in case you want one more!

Staying here was a terrific experience from top to bottom. Everything we needed to access and enjoy this beautiful, perfectly located apartment had been anticipated by the host. Perfectly located stay in Budapest

Fabulous little apartment in central Budapest. Well located to trams, shops, supermarkets, cafes/restaurants and walking distance to many sights. The apartment is small but has all the amenities to you need for a happy stay. Communication with host was very easy. Would happily recommend to family/friends and would happily stay here again. :)
