POSITIVES ->
· Easy access to apartment keys in order to gain entry.
· We found the apartment to be clean upon entry, with an appealing neutral colour scheme.
· Sufficiently spacious with regards the kitchen / dining / lounge room area.
· Very comfortable lounges and double bed in the main bedroom.
· More than ample kitchen utensils available – which came in handy as we had our dinners on-site each evening.
· The water heating was very easy to use.
· A bag liner was left on the kitchen table – to be used for bed linen stripped from the beds upon out departure. Good idea.
· The apartment is ideally located near the beach and not too far a walk from the town centre (i.e. 15 mins).
· A very quiet location, all in all.
CONSTRUCTIVE COMMENTS / SUGGESTIONS ->
· Is there any chance of getting the various stains removed from the carpet? Some of the stains are quite large/unsightly.
· The batteries in the TV’s remote control are on their way out and will require replacing.
· Of all the blinds located in the apartment, only the ones in the main bedroom worked sufficiently well. All others were working to a limited extent – for example, they were not working at all in the smaller bedroom, hence, we had to prop up spare pillows against the windows to obtain some degree of privacy from passers-by on the outside corridor. Not a very ideal situation all in all.
· Is there any way to address the levels of condensation captured between the double glazed windows in the kitchen & lounge room?
· Getting WiFi in the apartment would be a good idea.
· The owner may wish to follow up with the local council as to the state of the road surface (i.e. number of potholes) on Mears Lane. It definitely did not prove ideal for the suspension on the car!
· Is it possible to recycle garbage? We didn’t see any evidence of this on-site.
