Had a roach in my original bedroom & then when switched to a different floor had another roach. Apparently due to the port being behind them it has been infestation issue and it has not been resovled.

Hotel very clean, safe and with a outstanding bay and port view in the west side balconies (front). Yes, the rooms have a balcony not very common in other jotels. The staff very helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast included was yummy and well prepare. Restaurants close by are good, we didn't have the chance to check the restaurant on property o the pool area, otherwise highly recommended.

Check in staff was unfriendly and not helpful. The hotel does not have parking and they made no effort to help us find one. Luckily, the men outside of the hotel assisted us. There were no towels in the pool area and Igor the price we paid I think we could’ve had more amenities. We stayed at the Cosmos in 2019 and think the hotel is deteriorating.

Nice stay
The manager John is very kind. The facility is very clean. The staff is nice. The free breakfast is amazing. Just watch out for the restaurant because they like to add extra charges and fees to your bill. This happened during my stay in April and march. Overall, I will return when visiting family . It’s definitely the top hotel in the area.

The property is completely false advertised with major photo shop online. The entire structure is ugly/ poor condition/ concrete walls with no finishing, rusted beams and although seams to be a new hotel it looks 20 years old. Same goes for the pool is not an infinity pool it’s small and is also not well maintained. Front desk very unprofessional, not a welcoming feeling. The breakfast was over cooked “calentado” and disgusting milky eggs with cheese. The security guard at the entrance was literally 18 years old an looked scared and lost. No chairs on our balcony. The only unique thing about this hotel is the view of the port and to experience how it operates. Besides the above this a “ Hotel for Locals”.

The Property was very easy to find, we were traveling without GPS and the road ended and there was the property. There was an annoying man outside wanting to get paid for helping your park your car out front, the property should do something about this cause he's aggressive and shouldn't be there. We had a great view of the port which was massive and insane and the water as well. Overall had a good experience.

A really nice surprise in Buenaventura.
By far the best hotel in Buenaventura, It was a really good experience the staff members were friendly and ready to help, they offer good food and free late check out, which is a plus when traveling with kids.

I have stayed at this hotel several times. it's a nice newer hotel located in the heart of a vibrant port city. the hotel is clean with a nice outdoor pool and bar on the top floor. some of the staff speaks English and are very friendly and helpful. I always stay in the junior suites they are large rooms with lots of extras. the windows are sound proof which really helps since there is a lot of noise coming from the streets. Very good restaurants within walking distance with a newly renovated boardwalk nearby and lots of shopping nearby as well. you can also book a day trip to one of the nearby beaches. I wouldn't venture too far off into the neighborhoods since there is always the potential to be a victim of crime like it is in anywhere you go
