Great Resort Hotel with great management!
The Chateau is such an exceptional resort with European style. Most importantly, if you'd like to escape from the noise and pollution, the Chateau is obviously your choice! I love the location of the Hotel which's at the top of Berjaya Hill - a place with trees and birds. You won't find any industrial or commercial amenities - and you'll relax as much as you can! But please be aware of the monkeys which might appear anywhere in the Hotel. They're friendly, I suppose. Meanwhile, the staff are very professional and respond to your enquiry as fast as they can. Mr. Nizram, the duty manager is very experienced who has spent more than 20 years in the industry, who will help you for anything. Also, we booked 2-bedrooms suite which's very cozy. I love the bed which's thick and comfortable for you to sleep, and the shower of the washroom has strong water power. The spa has not yet fully opened, so I only had massage there with my wife, which's quite nice. Finally, the restaurant serves great in-room dinning with steak, burgers and other Malaysian-style food. The breakfast would make you full. However, due to the location, you won't find any convenient store nearby and other restaurants. So, if you want to have dynamic nightlife, the Hotel won't be suitable for you. By the way, it's approachable to the Japanese village and French village which're nice-decorated and friendly to the tourists. I suggest you spend at least three to four days for enjoying the slow life!

Nice resort but transportation is an issue
It's a place up on the hill where you can experience the calm away from the crowd. But transportation is really a problem if you don't drive especially when leaving the hotel because getting a taxi or grab is nightmare with very pricy offer if book on the spot. Better reserve your own taxi on arrival with the same driver if you can. The only shuttle service provided by the Colmar Tropicale resort which is operated by the same company Berjaya is easily full and only have two shuttles per day from and to Berjaya times Square. The chateau resort hygiene is great and staff are always wearing a smile. But instruction could be insufficient sometimes so you need to ask. The gym wiht sauna and yoga class is good. If you have money and time to spend a few more days, it's a great place for relaxation with spa treatment. They pride themselves using organic products and food for most items. Breakfast was of quality though not as many choices as some other hotels. Overall worth a try but don't expect everything to be perfect at a super five star hotel. You could also try some of the activities like horse riding, but better reserve in advance. The Japanese garden, rabbit park etc are all just places for killing time and enjoying the nature while you're up there, but don't expect surprises. After all this Berjaya Hill is an artificial resort place.

Specifically booked the Jacuzzi suite to enjoy the Jacuzzi but the Jacuzzi is not well maintained. Can’t even use the jacuzzi for more than 10 minutes and we had to manually add the water from the toilet due to the water flow is not strong enough because there is leakage in the Jacuzzi. The duty manager did not offer anything for future trip or solution to compensate the bad experience.

Great service from the staffs but building is quite old, complained on the the drainage but they said couldnt be repaired. Toilet was literally flooded when we bathed. The sink had drainage oriblem as well, water couldnt flow.

This is my 3rd time staying at the resort. Comparing to the earlier stay, this time is the worst stay experience. I requested for extra mineral water from the concierge and no water was sent to our room. Besides, i also waited my luggage to be sent to my room for an hour after check in. I do hope to see improvement in the customer service in future.

The stay at Chateau Spa is really nice. The welcome and check-in process was excellent. The service provided by the concierge, spa personnel and the gym facilities were good! Spa service was excellent, we enjoyed it and it is very professionally done and clean. Overall we were very happy - cleanliness is also good and the hotel facilities were in good condition. Only one area is lacking and needs lots of improvements - the food and beverage at the restaurant (only one is open for dinner) is not good. The food taste poorly and the portion is miserable. Buffet breakfast on second day was bad - had to ask for the bread, pancake, butter to be refilled - the tray was empty. As there is not much of venue for eating in Bukit Tinggi, it is important for chateau to provide good quality food.

Excellent stay and facilities. Had some minor issue during check-in where the room booked wasn’t available but no prior notification. Unpleasant surprise but the Manager, Mark and Jacqueline managed to resolve it. Overall, will return as very warm and excellent customer service.

Please discount on the Restaurants.
Good Nothing much to do but relax and finish a book. Restaurants are way too expensive, no wonder it was empty the while day. For lunch we drove down to Janda Baik and For Dinner we walked to Colmar Tropical that was walking distance and the price of food was slightly lower. Management should think about major reduce in the food price. By the way the Breakfast was OK same meal on Saturday Morning and Sunday Morning, The Fried Bee Hoon was tasteless its like Bee Hoon fried with Chili's.

Wonderful hotel stay
The hotel was great - great service, great food, great room and very comfortable beds. All 5 of us slept very well and loved our two bed room suites very much. Free shuttle to nearby places was great. Unfortunately, karaoke system was a let down , not user friendly and too old. Spa and Massage was good, a bit on the pricing side. Wheelchair friendly so it's great for my mom.
