"You can tell at some point someone put money into this place to renovate it but it doesn’t mean much if it’s not maintained. I’m not a big complainer but I feel like cleanliness should be the bare minimum. I had some kind of food sauce (Chinese maybe) all over my desk on arrival. When checking for bed bugs I could see what I’m hoping was food stains all over the mattress cover and there were very small dead bugs in the shower, some kind of Beatles or other small nuisance bugs, none appeared to be roaches thankfully. The top blanket is very old and scratchy which is my least concerning gripe. The floors had a few spots where you could tell something got stomped in like old candy or gum and hasn’t been scraped up (think gum that’s been on a sidewalk forever). It’s not the worst place I’ve ever stayed and if im in a pinch again I might stay here but I feel like the quality could swing wildly from room to room so maybe not. There were a few other minor issues that fall in the same categories already mentioned."
