“For anyone looking for a small beautiful hidden gem resort close to San Ignacio, I'd highly recommend Villa Massis in Bullet Tree Falls! It's only a quick 10 min drive into San Ignacio. We had a 2-bedroom suite for the 4 of us and it was perfect. We booked airport transportation, transfer to Placencia, several rides into San Ignacio and all of our tours with them. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to help us.”

On site managers keep the beautiful, extensive grounds meticulously maintained as well as the pool and BBQ area. Enjoyed hiking to both Big Rock Falls and a cool cave. ”

“Had a fabulous stay at Cassia Hill. Had a duplex style studio overlooking the gorgeously cared for grounds (#2). The room was surrounded by huge windows to enjoy the lush trees and plants from inside. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful both before and during my stay.
