"No TV remote room wasn't clean and room stunk off drains "

"Found a bed bug on my neck as getting into bed (didn't know what it was at the time, since identified thru Google). Woke up feeling as if been bitten several times across back and neck. Bed linen was at least clean. General state of room was poor with repairs done to a low standard. Shower door didn't cost properly into its frame. Didn't try breakfast as didn't have time."

"Lovely spacious room, thoughtful staff allocated us a room we could access after 11pm as attending a wedding nearby, appreciated this! Well furnished and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. "

"English breakfast and cereals. Could do with fresh fruit and pastries. Chair was very old in room and bathroom was super tight. Parking was free and good but amenities need improvement "

"The stay at the Le Strange Arms was excellent from when we booked in to when we left. The room was clean and supplied with biscuits and fresh milk in a bottle, made a change from U H T in plastic. The breakfast was very good set us up for the day. The only complaint was the shower it was very hot I could not turn it down to a comfortable temperature. "

"Pet friendly Staff were polite and helpful Unfortunately no heating in our room but other rooms had heating ( this is being sorted) Managed to get parking for all of my stay Everything you need is walking distance from hotel "

"We stayed for two nights at The Lifeboat and it was a very nice place to stay. The evening meal choices were very good as were the breakfasts and the food we ate was lovely. The room was spacious and we had a great view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A great venue to visit many places from. So pleased we stayed there! "

"Room was nice although bathroom was quite cramped with little room to even put the bath mat down. Bed was comfortable but the duvet needs to be updated as it was incredibly lumpy with large parts where there was no filling at all. Lovely and quiet location with nice view of the garden. Breakfast was good quality, nice choice with plenty to eat. Would have been nice for the team to have explained what there was when we arrived and to be given a menu to select from. Staff on reception were very friendly and polite. "

"The breakfast is buffet style, a couple of options to order something different, eg porridge or boiled eggs. A good selection on the buffet, although no continental options. The dinning area is very spacious & there were plenty of staff available. On 2 occasions there was a noise of a vacuum cleaner nearby, which caused a bit of a disturbance. We only used the bar area one evening, but it was comfortable. "
