We booked this hotel as we wanted to see Edinburgh. This was the whole purpose of our trip. This hotel was advertised as only a few miles away from Edinburgh city centre and had good reviews on Expedia. All false. The address matching this hotel doesn't exist on our phones' maps/GPS. 「My boyfriend and I were for one night in Melissas Flat. The communication with Melissa was really friendly and uncomplicated. She gave us tips for walks and pubs. The flat is cozy, it's decorated with many lovely details. We enjoyed staying here and we are sure it was not the last time! 」

「The host was great. She worked very hard to get us in a little earlier and we appreciated it. Great little apartment in a really wonderful area. So close to the train and bus right across the street. Easy walk to the stores and cafes and also the beach. So much better than staying in the city. I met some of the nicest and most helpful locals. My only suggestion would be a better mattress. Really nice and very clean. Loved the kitchen. Thanks for a wonderful stay!」
