“Friendly staff, inviting pool, quiet area, quiet rooms…”

“If you are looking for the jungle experience than this is the place for you. We were greeted by the local troop of Howler monkeys on arrival. Beautiful house right on the river. Locals had been seeing Manitee in the river near the house. Kenny and Shanna were great. We are already planning a return trip. ”

“Our stay at Howler House was just as we imagined it could be. The hosts were absolutely amazing and quick with responses. Shanna picked us up from the water taxi, arranged our excursions, and was so helpful with any questions we had about the area. Kenny was there daily cleaning the pool or the yard. They both were so easy to talk to and really enjoyed spending time with them. The monkeys were all around and there was 2 babies that were very curious and came quite close. A wonderful……

“Outstanding”

“This property was beautiful, room nice and cool, had a fridge. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was included and was very good.”

“A+++ customer service”

“We can’t say enough good things about the hosts here. Or the location, or the pool, or the amazing company of other like minded travellers. So close to the airport (but out of the grossness of downtown Belize city), with a free shuttle! If you’ve travelled at Belize before and are familiar with the accommodations, you’ll know that you’re not usually going to get the Marriot. But thats the best part about Belize. This wonderful place is clean, the beds are soft and the room is so comfortable.……

“The staff was so helpful and so sweet! You gotta do the sun set cruise as well. We were lucky enough to see a few holler monkeys. Would definitely come back”

“Really clean and lovely”

“I didn’t understand there wasn’t a kitchen so just know that. Not that I would have cooked cause I wouldn’t have but the ability to wash glasses and things would have been nice. Nothing we couldn’t deal with though. Super cute property!!!!”

“Wish we could have stayed longer! Michelle was great always responding right away with any questions we had before arrival and during! Scott was an amazing host! Picked us up at the airport and quickly got us food at the Belkin Brewery which was a great place! Thank you Scott for all the tips 1-15 lol! We will be back!”

“Staff attentive.”

“I had a really nice stay at this inn. The place felt comfortable and the owner Colin was welcoming and kind. The room was clean, cozy, and a good spot to relax after being out for the day running around. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a simple, pleasant stay, and I'd be happy to come back again.”

“De beste pancakes die ik de hele vakantie heb gegeten! Keukenpersoneel en bediening was top, ondanks het beperkte aanbod door slow seson”

“Manuel and Anna were the absolute best hosts. They picked us up from the ferry and took us on a tour of Belize City on the way to their home where the studio apartment is located. We stopped at the grocery store, purchased dinner from a local woman selling traditional food, and stopped at the liquor store near their home before checking in to the cutest, cleanest room. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, the shower had great water pressure, and the breakfast the next day……

“Friendly staffs”

“My wife and I found James and Audrey’s place very reasonably priced and quite comfortable. It was spotless with very nice amenities. Quick and easy access to the airport and very peaceful. James is an excellent host and we would definitely do this again!”
