Terrible experience- first of all why did you assign handicap room? Doors were opened and shot all night. We were not able to sleep. Breakfast was terrible. I never experienced such a thing in my life as traveler.

The entire staff is great! They are friendly, accommodating, respectful, and the hotel is clean. I would not recommend any of the other hotels in the area.

Staff was very nice and super accommodating. The hotel is older. Our room was small and not clean. Dog hair in the corner on carpet. That room hadn’t been vacuumed in awhile. We did not complain or ask to be moved. As we only slept for a short time and headed out early.

Minor Improvements but Great!
The staff was professional, friendly, and did everything to accommodate our stay. The room was a bit musty (to be expected in Florida), but was EASILY remedied by washing the A/C filters off and a bit of air freshener. No big deal really. The general maintenance of the building and room could have been improved i.e. caulking and corners of walls here and there being patched due to normal wear and tear from being bumped. This was not bad however, and not out of control. The maid works hard and was always around! She was more than willing to accommodate replacement of supplies (do not disturb was posted). Very quiet area with great accommodations and close to everything.

Despite employees doing their best, this property is in serious need of a remodel and is troubling to say the least… mold in the room, gum caked onto the carpet, hair in the shower and drain, smelling of smoke and mold. The potential is there, but the needs seriously need to be remodeled. Things were so outdated and seemingly unsafe due to mold that we did not stay overnight.

The staff was great. The room while small was comfortable for one. Breakfast was lacking options for people who must eat a gluten free diet. Fortunately, I had stopped at a grocery store and had some options available.

good place to stay, but a little disappointed.
Overall good. They've lost my loyalty though. After years of this being my choice for the area and spending thousands of dollars here, they charged me an early check in fee when the hotel was obviously not busy. I understand they have to make money, but charging a greed fee to a customer who stays at least 5 times a year (and as much as 10 sometimes)....that doesn't sit well. Not a deal breaker though, just won't be my "default" choice anymore. The years of ignoring the Wildwood hotels are over, I guess.

This hotel is an old one that they brought back to life. I stayed in a suite. I could tell a lot of time and expense was put into that. New modern TV and microwave. The bathroom was remodeled with a new vanity, faucet, toilet, shower and shelving. The bed was likely new. It was comportable and zero noise. The ac/heating unit worked great with no out of the ordinary noises. During my stay to visit my sick dad, I caught Covid-19. I let them know and that I was quarantining to my room. They understandably let me know they wouldn't be cleaning the room but offered any assistance during my stay. All the staff where kind and courteous. I can't comment on the breakfast since I didn’t utilize it, other than it looked clean and appetizing. Cerials, pancake maker, coffee... On the outside, I didnt use the outside pool but they had just redone the parking lot pavement, painted line and plenty of lighting. Overall my stay was very nice and definitely would stay again. My 4 star rating is only because its an older hotel that still has some minor fixes need, which I feel at some point will be addressed. The elevator is likely original and could use some TLC. It was safe though and worked fine. The faucet and drain stop in the shower needed to be replaced. Lastly, there was a bad smell to the room and not as strong in the hallway. I hesitated adding this since its possible it was from the freshly paved parking lot tar smell mixed w/ hotel smell.

We are not handicapped, but received a handicap room. We had to remove the tub seating for handicap. The thermostat was at wheelchair level. The Sind had zero room for toiletries. The breakfast bar had pancakes that were automated ….silver dollar size pancakes that come out sssllloooww one at a time. The people were awesome. The breakfast and room needed help!

Updates needed for the price
The people where all very nice, the place just needs to updated. The toilet had to be flushed multiple times to work and the sink is very small, no room to do anything in the bathroom. The elevator was a little sketchy at times… took a long time to go up 1 floor.. place wasn’t worth the $300 it cost me for 2 days. Had the price been lower it would have been appropriate.
