“Booked a weekend to reconnect with friends and visit Crater Lake, couldn't have asked for a better location. We made use of the pool table, DVD collection and loved spending time in the outdoor spaces on the property. House was clean and orderly, and the host was quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely be back!”

“This is a historical cabin on the Rogue River. Like most historical cabins it is small and dark. Fortunately the outdoor space is amazing. This is the perfect place to go for any season except for winter when it would be too dark. It does need some updating. The kitchen is outfitted to match the time of the cabin. Sorting out the fridge and the oven/stove was a little challenging. There is not much room for groceries and it is definitely a one person kitchen. There is a bar to sit at but would……

“Perfect place to stay for a relaxing adventure. It's about 1 hour away from the Crater Lake Lodge and an easy drive. The house is clean and comfortable. The outdoor area by the river is covered so you can enjoy even when it's raining. Our only critique was that there was only one kitchen towel for use. I would suggest a few more for guests that like to cook and do not want to waste paper towels.”

“The property is as described. The architecture is ... quirky. Hallways that lead nowhere. Strange elevated, carpeted stage in rear upstairs bedroom. And what might be a deal-killer for some, there are NO DOORS to the upstairs bedrooms. And lots of random rooms with no discernible purpose nor doors. You will want to get very, very familiar with how to use the main fireplace if you plan to stay warm in colder months. That said, my three teenage boys and I had a blast. Would consider returning……

“This property is a warm, welcoming home on the river. It was clean and lacked nothing we needed. It’s in a quiet neighborhood. Sitting out by the river was so relaxing. The host replied promptly to our inquiries. We highly recommend this property.”

“We loved our weekend at Dennis's house at Lake of the Woods. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The bed in the master was amazing, I haven't slept as well as I did here in a long time. The weather wasn't as we hoped for to spend the time at the lake but we were just fine because this Lake House was perfect and we will definitely be back.”

“When we do a road trip between the SF Bay Area and central Oregon coast we plan our trip based on the availability of this home. It’s a perfect location to stop for the night with the dogs. It’s always clean and comfortable and the dogs love the yard. The amenities provided for humans and doggies are so much appreciated! It’s close to good restaurants when we want take-out and close to the grocery store when we want to cook. Getting gas and back onto the Interstate is a breeze. Will definitely……

“in general just an amazing experience. Day of check-in some issues with the Wi-Fi that were mine. But password on slip of paper looked like a large c when it was lowercase so that was a little frustrating. Mgr never responded back. Also was told that there would be free kayaks use, with life preservers in box on the dock. The kayaks were there but no paddles and no life preservers.”

“The house and property are quite special. Everything in the house is new and in pristine condition. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are beautiful. There are so many extra touches: Spa robes, welcome coffee supplies, surround sound, comfortable furniture. The grounds are lovely with wild and manicured flowers in June. We enjoyed morning walks on the trails and I even took advantage of the herb garden to whip up some pasta.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Very relaxing to sit on the deck after a day of hiking. Plenty of beautiful hikes in the area as well as some wineries.”
