The facilities were lovely and very well equipped.

The facilities were lovely and very well equipped. The static caravan was cosy but still spacious. There was a nice pet friendly touch with treats, a towel, a water bowl, a ball and blanket. We were even provided with a nice bottle of fizz and a small bottle fresh milk for our stay. It was kind windy during our stay so a lot of leaves blew onto our decking, it would’ve been nice to have this hosed off every morning so it was cleaner around the hot tub. We stayed for 3 nights and it would’ve been nice to be provided with new towels on day 2 especially when you want a nice shower after a long walk in the countryside. Overall we had a lovely stay and would recommend to all especially pet dog owners.

Me, my husband and my dog have had an amazing time.

Me, my husband and my dog have had an amazing time. We got a great last minute deal for such a good price so weren’t expecting ‘amazing’ when we turned up but that’s what it was. From checking in and being told everything about the lodge, the hot tub, surroundings and facilities to the bottle of Prosecco in the fridge and the dog box filled with stuff you might have forgotten to pack on the side, we loved it. The manifold had everything you could need inside, cutlery, pots, pans, glasses, casserole dishes and even milk in the fridge. It was also immaculate, cosy, spacious, modern and was gated so the dog couldn’t escape too. The HUGE dog park was fab too, my pug with selective hearing loved it. The location was fab as well, lots of places close like Buxton and Longnor. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. We’ve spent 3x as much as this on other lodges/caravans and arrived to tired, moudly accommodation yet Longnor Wood was the best we’ve ever been too. We will definitely be back. 100% would recommend.
