Thanksgiving disaster
The maid had not come. We had to wash our own bedding and towels. When we did laundry and also the dirty dishes that were left behind, we caused a flood in the laundry room. The trash bins were all full. The tv in the main room was smashed. No one returned my texts for 4 hours. When they did, they told us we were going to be "forced moved" to another town at 8:30 pm the night before Thanksgiving. We refused. They promised a plumber to come but never did the whole 4 days. A new tv was dropped off but not installed or the old one unmounted. I was promised a refund on fees but have seen nothing. Disappointing to say the least.

What a great house and location!
The house was very nice and the yard was great. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well appointed (except no oven mitts). As mentioned in previous reviews, there was a slight smell in/around the master bath but it was tolerable. The deck and hot tub were great and there were awesome sunsets from the dock. My family wants to make this an annual trip location.

Cute little spot…
This was a great home, in a good neighborhood. The house had several back yard games to play. Kayaks and hot tub were a fun hit as well. For the bad part… the master bedroom smelled so foul, we tried laying in there and didn’t last 15 minutes. We ended up closing that door and deeming that room as off limits. Therefore, the adults were left sleeping in a guest bed which was smaller then the master. If you need all 3 rooms, choose another options as no one would be able to tolerate the smell of the master bath. Another issue was the microwave wasn’t working either. We did try to message Vacasa and got a generic reply. I didn’t try to call anyone as we wanted to focus on family time and not dealing with customer service. All in all the home was clean and if you only need 2 rooms (and an extra room with a pullout couch) those rooms were all great.

This property had a great location and amenities were convenient for kayaking and hot tub. Very peaceful spot. The downside was there was a clogged toilet upon arrival and the plumber flooded the master which is carpeted. No shop vac so the room was not able to be used by is die to soaking floor. Disappointing as we had hoped to use whole house but were limited.
