“Staff very friendly. Owner was there also, and able to talk with her as well. Had a power outage, and staff was able to transfer guests to other rooms that had power that was on the site's back up generator.”

“Beautiful place and amazing staff, but lots of ants in the room - in the toilet, on the desk, on the bed. Only espresso cups available in the room, no proper coffee cups. Thin walls. We can hear people laughing outside and in the next room. Bed sheets were dirty as well.”

For any longer stay, please be aware that there are no amenities, such as complementary water soap, shampoo, coffee, in the lake that usually come with higher end hotels. In fact, if you wanted a drink of fresh water, you had to take the cup out of the room to the hallway by the elevator and fill it up at a water fountain. Not too convenient!”

“This place is ideal if you are whole day away outside for tours and other businesses. I wont recommend this place if you will just stay inside all day long as their wifi is intermittent. Overall value for money is okay if you are in a tight budget exploring the city.”

“The room was clean and everything was in working order. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. They had a restaurant that served good food at reasonable prices. The only things that kept me from rating it 5 stars was that one day housekeeping did not tidy up the room, so the next day I had to request this service. Also, the main driveway entrance to the property has a large dip which cause the front of my rental car to hit at the bottom as I would pull in or out of the property. They could……

“We had a great time at Lazy Tiki. Philippe and Juliana welcomed us warmly and made our stay comfortable. The place is quiet and relaxing. The pool is nice and refreshing. We had a wonderful, hearty breakfast prepared by Philippe and Juliana. We are very grateful. Would love to come visit again in the future. I told my family and friends. Philippe is such a great host and so as Juliana keeping up the place. Thanks again!!!”

“I've stayed here many times, and this time it was truly disappointing... their internet had always been slow... but at least it's free and available... on this trip, I only discovered that the hotel's internet is down after I checked in... had I known, I would've moved to another hotel. And when inquired about a refund, they said their internet is ok, the fault is the service providers, thus no refund or compensation will be offered...”
