「The place was just amazing. The views from all around the property is spectacular. The staff took such good care of us. We went for our 24th year wedding anniversary and we were given some Port wine and a bottle at the end of our stay. The people were all great. The included breakfast is so good. And the suppers were just as great. There is very little light pollution that at night we were able to see the milky way galaxy. We had a magical stay and thank you so much to the staff.」

「We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa Dona Edite Guesthouse in the Douro Valley, located about 15 to 20 minutes from Pinhão. The room is modern, well decorated and we appreciated the his and her towels. The place is very quiet since we are up in the hills, away from the town. The continental breakfast in the morning is delicious. So, if you are looking for a place to stay in the Douro valley and relatively near Pinhao, we highly recommend Casa Dona Edite.」

「Great view from the room and the cafeteria/restaurant. The mountain and the river behind are spectacular. The room itself is quite nice and big as well. However, the only public transportation to get to the hotel is by bus. Even it is only three minutes walk to downtown, still strongly recommend to rent a car if you would like to explore more in the neighborhood. The hotel has its own underground parking lot. So it is not a problem for parking.」
