The apartment is a first-floor apartment above restaurants including the delivery door to McDonalds where drivers tend to congregate. Hence, can be noisy. The apartment has shutters on all windows to help reduce the noise. The host was a good communicator. A security deposit is required, but this cannot be paid by Credit Card and must be paid by Revolut (a finance app) or cash.……

“The apartment was a great choice for our 1 week stay in Faro. A great location to grocery stores, the Marina, Old Town and Restaurants complete with views of sunrise and sunsets from the eight floor balcony. A well laid out apartment, nicely decorated and fully equipped in a quiet residential neighborhood. Ivan was a great host and provided an easy process for check in and check out. “Ivan gave us a great tour and helpful information on our arrival. He was easy to reach and attentive to our questions. We even ran into him while out walking the town one day! Had some great meals, Faro has some wonderful restaurants. Central location for hopping the train and visiting the other towns in the Algarve.”

“Very nice, clean apartment, and nice location. There were some issues with the code to get into the building--it didn't work all the time, and we would have to wait for someone leaving the building to get in. Also, late at night, it seemed that a rage party would begin (around 1 am) that was extremely loud and lasted for hours--closing the windows helped. The apartment is on the 9th floor, and the elevator was spotty.”

“Perfekte Unterkunft für kleine Familie. Man benötigt allerdings ein Auto, das sollte man vorher schon wissen. Ausstattung nicht die neueste, aber absolut ok. Der Gastgeber, Diogo, kümmert sich und ist jederzeit per WA zu erreichen. Hat mir nachträglich sogar einen vergessenen Akku per Pist nach Deutschland geschickt! ”
