ONDA is wonderful little hotel. It is right in the heart of Playa Grande and offers great amenities. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, a great experience and a fun place to stay.

There are so many great things to be said about Ondas! The location is fabulous The water is hot and the air conditioning is cold! If you’re looking for a super fun local community hotel with great staff and great food right by one of the best beaches in Costa Rica for surfing. This is it!

I had a great stay and extended it by a night. The room was clean & the bed was comfortable. The staff are really happy, friendly and helpful going above and beyond to make sure you have a good stay. The amenities are good, location is great. We had some trouble with a blocked drain in the shower & the staff helped to resolve it immediately moving us to another room whilst it was repaired. I’d return & I would recommend it

Our room was absolute barebones !!!! No chair no hanging cupboard, no night lamps, no tv, no tea or coffee facilities, no decoration of any kind, two wooden boxes for bed stands !!! No cups or glasses for water. Bathroom the same, bad smell from shower, no water pressure, toilet cistern faulty, had to open tank to get floater valve to work. No cupboard beneath the sink, bordered up, no place to put toiletries, tiles unfinished in shower !!!!

Amazing place to stay with a short walk to the beach. Owners were very accommodating and friendly. Rooms are clean and fresh with privacy. Burger and nachos at the restaurant were my favourite. Definitely worth checking out. Five stars all around.
