This is a Wonderful Waterfront Getaway for any Family to enjoy during anytime of year!
Located on Lake Mitchell Canal with direct access to Lake Mitchell & Lake Cadillac. Just 1 mile west of Cadillac, 8 miles east of Caberfae Ski Resort, and just 2 miles north of M-55 near the Heart of the Manistee National Forest.

Great for Summer and Winter Vacation Getaway!
List of nearby things to do:
-Lake Cadillac & Lake Mitchell out the back door for lots of Fishing, Boating, Canoeing, --Kayaking, Ice Fishing & much more.
-Swimming in the water from your boat or a nearby public beach.
-Snowmobile Trail located 1 mile down the road. No wasting time loading and unloading sleds all day long. Just RIDE!
-Cadillac Snowmobile Festival just outside the front door.
-Top Notch SKIING & GOLF at Caberfae Resort (7 miles) & Crystal Mountain Resort (15 miles). (By the way staying at this Yellow Perch is much nicer & less expensive than any small hotel room!
-Adventure Island Amusement Park with go-carts, bumper boats, water slides, mini-golf, & more (1 miles).
-Pine River canoeing, tubing, paddle board, rafting, & more (10 miles).
-Hiking & Hunting on the 1000's of acres of State land 1 mile down the road because it is located near the heart of the Manistee Forest.
-Steelhead & Salmon Fishing at Tippy Dam (15 miles).
-ORV trailhead about 5 to 8 miles away.
-Cross Country Skiing & Snowshoeing
-Morel Mushroom Hunting is some of the best in the area.

Very good property! Had everything we needed to have a good time. Fishing, firepit, grill, comfortable chairs, quiet neighborhood, and other stuff such as cable tv. Would stay there again!

Loved the property, the access to Lake Mitchel for ice fishing was great by Big Cove. Parking was great for truck and trailer. Perfect place for our trip. Just wish the weather would have cooperated with us to fish! Will be back in the future.

We spent two enjoyable weeks at the “Yellow Perch” on Lake Mitchell. Easy to get to and easy to get to Cadillac, Mi. Many restaurants available. Would recommend the “13th street grill and The Timbers restaurant. The Yellow Perch has a great back yard view along with grill, fire pit, and access for boating. There is a launching ramp about a mile away and there are docks in the back yard. Quiet area and a great area for walking. The Kitchen was well supplied. Only reason we didn’t give it a 5 is the living room is dark and we recommended to the owner that more light should be made available, which he agreed to do. We hope to be able to go back in 2025.

Quiet neighborhood, and very close to Caberfae for skiing! Entry into the garage to stash our ski gear! Responsive owner, a great little spot for our family and two dogs! Would be a great spot in Summer with the dock!

Our first time to visit Cadillac. This location was great. Quiet neighborhood. The house was quite comfortable. Hope to stay there again.

Place was clean. There was an issue with the oven not working and the owner called immediately. Check in and out was simple. There is not a cleaning fee because he has you clean the house entirely before you leave. Kitchen was well stocked.

House was as advertised. Great location. Comfortable stay and quiet setting. Nice and friendly neighbors. Fall colors were awesome. Had fun in the water with the watercraft supplied. Downtown was not that far away so we enjoyed some good food too. Dewayne was always in communication and everything went smooth and easy with check-in and out. Love the area. Will be back up there for sure.

The house was very easy to find. The check in process was simple. The host was very accommodating because we had some date issues. Someone came during the evening to place the trash bin out to the street and put chunks of concrete in it while we were renting for that week. Didn't appreciate that because we had our boat with all of our fishing gear in the driveway and we felt it was secure. Nothing happened but we know someone was there.

We found the accommodations to be very nice. The price for the 5-day rental was right too. A canal connected us to Lake Mitchell With the option of using two docs. Overall experience was very good.

Cozy lake home in an area that is safe and secure. Neighbors are friendly and have a watchful eye. Host was responsive and very accommodating to our needs. Will rent again for our future stays.

We booked and stayed for out of town wedding. Sadly weather was rainy :( property was located on canal very nice location with kayak and paddle boat. We were able to enjoy couple hours kayak before departure. The place is cute little house (little dated) great for couple people. Would say only complaint which is really not a complaint is that the main room bed was only full size and as we are accustom to king an queen would be a much better fit for the main room( we were aware and stayed anyway). Owner has a very detailed cleaning list which we didnt minds as we clean after ourselves anyway. Was nice and key lock very convenient. Great little place in nice area.
