The lake home was in a pretty location right on the lake. It was spacious and easily accommodated our group of seven. It was well stocked with essentials and clean. We enjoyed the deck, grill and choice of two fire pits. Thank you, Melissa for a wonderful weekend.

The house was very clean and everything was updated. The downstairs area was very large with another full kitchen. The location was not ideal, as there was a gravel road leading up to the property and there were no outside lights on. We had to navigate our way up to the front door in the dark with our cell phone lights. This is a very rural property if that is what you are looking for.

Great quiet get away

We were looking for a place to unwind and have some downtime and this place was perfect! Lots of space, love the nature and peaceful location. There were deer in the yard every day which was fun to watch from the deck of the house. Would stay again and take friends back.

Great family fun!

Our family spent Thanksgiving at Sunrise Shores, and we had an amazing time! We had plenty of space for ten of us, and our kids loved playing on the hill out back. The sunrise view of the lake was beautiful! Very quiet and secluded area!

It was beautiful area. House was nice Beds could have been a little more comfortable and some of the furniture was cheap and torn up or missing parts . Pool table could use some work. The host were nice and did not bother us during our stay.

What a wonderful place for a family vacation!

My family and I really enjoyed our time together at this quiet, beautiful property. The 7 of us - myself, my son and daughter and their families- stayed very comfortably here. My grandsons and I had a great time taking the kayaks out on the lake from the private dock. One afternoon we rented a boat at the Lake Barkley Marina, and had fun tubing in the lake. I highly recommend this property for a family vacation.

Beautifully Cozy!

what a beautiful, cozy, super clean lake home! We enjoyed having a dock for our little boat and being able to commune with nature each day on that awesome deck! All the little touches in the house and the well stocked kitchen made us feel right at home. The night sky was so clear for stargazing that we saw the Milky Way! Great place to have some quality bonding time with family and friends.

Me, my husband, my son, his wife, and their 4 kids stayed for a week. It was very roomy and a great location. The guys all loved fishing from the dock and taking the boat out. They caught several fish. We played games after dark. Everyone had a great time.

A little lake front with a spacious property

A very nice home with a unique spiral staircase to the lower level, which has all the amenities for a backyard party. Comfortable sleeping in master bedroom with a full bathroom. All the appliances worked except for the pool table. It was not in good condition but still usable for fun.

Comfortable home on a beautiful lake

This home was immaculate and well-eqipped. Our host, Melissa, was very welcoming and helpful. The lake is quiet and lovey, with many coves to explore by kayak.

We had a great time and this house was awesome. It was very well stocked with everything we could need. We enjoyed the pool table and the games. The lake view was really pretty, especially with the full moon. My only suggestion would be to add a box or 2 of Kleenexes and a few more trash bags. Overall I would give this house and our time here an A+!!

Great house with o.k. location

The house itself was nice and worked out well for our family (5 adults and 2 children). It was nice and clean with plenty of space. There was lots of wildlife. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. The roads to the house were not great (narrow and in poor condition with sharp corners and steep banks). I would not suggest pulling a boat or trailer to the house. There are steps down to the dock, but they are rough. The power at the dock had been damaged and did not work. Overall the house was nice, but could use some general maintenance and investment to keep the amenities in better condition.

We loved our stay at this home from the minute we walked in the door. This home was spotless clean! We had everything we needed for this stay, the home was so welcoming and just a great place for everyone to relax and plenty of room for our group of 8 to enjoy. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and we had plenty of hot water for everyone. The location on the lake was quiet and it was easy to walk down to the boat dock. There was a boat ramp close by so it was easy to get the boat in. I recommend this place to anyone, and we will for sure stay here again, hopefully make it a family tradition for years to come.

Cadiz

The property was great except the trail to the water is more steep than the pics showed. That said, our family had a great week. It was very relaxing since the road ended at the house. There was some kitchen utensiles that could be provided that are not there. Nothing major just nice to have things. Trash bags were a problem but we bought a box and left them in the house. We also bought three pyrex bowls and left them on top of the fridge. The kayak's were great and we enjoyed them. The fire pit was also wonderful. We had a fire on three nights and the smores were great. We had a little issue with the AC and the wifi but the owner was so nice and responsive, she even brought us a protable AC and the repairman was there promptly the next morning and mad the repair. One other thing to consider, place in the post on VRBO that you should go and off load the boat before driving to the house. We drove directly to the cabin boat in tow and had a real problem turning it around and going to the boat ramp. It was a great week and we would certainly recommend to our friends and family.
