Everything you could think of was certainly provided for and then some. We all loved the thoughtful touches and wonderful amenities plus it was sparkling clean!! "The Carlson House is a fabulous place to stay! We loved our three nights there and we should have stayed longer! Lou Anne was wonderfully welcoming and very communicative. We enjoyed the hot tub immensely and took full advantage! Mesa Verde has been on my Bucket List for some time, so if you are going to Mesa Verde you must stay at the Carlson House! We loved the welcoming deer on our first night, and the resident cat "Flash" is so loving! We nicknamed him Morris! Everything is magical here!!...

"The area is somewhat remote and beautiful. The place was clean and well stocked with dishes and kitchen appliances. The decks are huge with a variety of wild birds around the property. There is an awesome trail system less than a mile away you can walk, run, or bike on. The owners are friendly and helpful."

"On the surface it would appear rustic, but that is not the case. The comforts included with this Tipi are wonderful. This is glamping at its best with the full kitchen and beautiful bathroom. It was wonderful to sit out and enjoy the dark night sky. Gary and Rachel provided pellets for the wood stove which was necessary for the chilly nights. Gary also responded to any question I had within minutes. Great trip!"

"The cabin was perfect for my spouse, 17 yo daughter and dog. I loved reading next to the river and having space for my dog to play. The garage door wall of the kitchen opened up the space more and was great having all the fresh air. Kitchen was just right, the bedrooms and beds comfy too! We came up for a wedding and to detress without the fuss and this was a perfect spot. Town was a couple minutes away. Thank you for sharing your space with us!"
