「Lovely place to stay. Everyone in the Castletown team could not do enough for us, welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast and evening meal were excellent. Our second stay, and will stay there again.」

「A good, well-run hotel. No criticisms. Also, we had a slight problem with a noisy resident in the next room to us. I contacted the night porter who quickly sorted things out, calmly, politely and effectively. The restaurant is exceptionally good - way above the general standard of freezer to microwave meals you encounter so often.」

「A lovely warm welcome, beautiful decorated room, the most comfy bed of our whole trip, a stunning guest house with a lounge and a snug. Host was so accommodating for breakfast, we requested 7:30 as we had a ferry to catch, this was not a problem, porridge was made to order and delicious, continental selection was varied with plenty of options for every one. It was a shame we only stayed for one night.」

「We stayed at the Bank Guest House for one night on our road trip of Scotland. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the property was and how large the bedroom was. The owner was extremely friendly and cooked a lovely breakfast for us in the morning! Wick itself is a little run down with not much to do, but for a one night stop off I would thoroughly recommend staying at this B&B.」

「Located well off the beaten path, this quaint B&B provides a cultural experience. The owners are very friendly and willing to share their wealth of knowledge about the area. The facility itself is clean and inviting. Breakfast is made to order by the couple who owns the place. For people who only have experience with hotels or Air B&Bs, this place will be eye-opening as it is run how traditional B&Bs were done fifty years ago. A lovely experience overall!」

「This was a return visit to North Star Glamping. The pods are beyond Glamping, they are a little home from home. Maggie has thought of everything and more. I cannot recommend this highly enough.」

「This was just an overnight after driving up from Dornoch and getting on the ferry to Orkney at Gills Bay the next morning. However Eilean and Graeme greeted us in the parking area and helped us move into our room. Provided us with lots of info on their property and where to eat. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast in the morning had lots of variety and our choices were delicious. 」
