Very friendly hostess! The room was large and inviting. She showed us how to operate the shower and use of the coffee maker with instructions on the wall. Very thoughtful set up.
We stayed in their cabins right on the water. The room was beautiful and comfortable. We went to a restaurant they recommended and it was the best meal on our 2.5 week trip. The welcome we received when checking in was fabulous.

Good location, good view, spacious and good choice for breakfast.
Quite dusty and dated.
Amazing to be on the outer edge of these islands. You can see Norway on a clear day, not today. Very cosy well appointed room. Friendly staff. I wonder what its like in winter?
Being on my own with the dog, i was a little apprehensive. Absolutle no need. Booking in was easy. I was informed ofthe dog friendly places to eat. I was wvenoffered cutlery uf u wanted to order in. Breakfast was delivered to the room which is what they do for everyone. Was fresh and spot on poached eggs. Deffo recommend. Budget but good
Welcoming hosts but could use improvement on the cleanliness of the room. Ripped chairs, dirty carpets, dusty room. Breakfast was delivered to the room and was good until we noticed the green mould on the bread. A bit more attention the cleaning would go a long way.
Friendly, helpful hosts, cooked breakfast served to room was ok if you choose wisely.
Room had a lovely harbour view, although could have been so much nicer.
Room decor bit tired, cleanliness standard of shower unit and carpets poor.
This B&B has potential to be fabulous but would only recommend using for 1 night if you're looking for a stopover on NC500
The Harbour Inn is a historic building and has a lot of character. I had the single room, #3, that had the bathroom across the hallway. The room itself has all the basics you need for coffee and tea, plus condiments and biscuits. The room has a view of the harbor. Breakfast was excellent! For the amount I paid and previous reviews, I was worried, but Ken and Virginia were welcoming hosts and you can't get something similar for the price in the US. If they were to give the place a refresher they could easily charge double the price.

Ok
Ok, but bathroom could do with a deep clean though. Toothpaste left around sink from previous occupancy. And the cabinet underneath was filthy. Mould in shower area which is easy cleanable. Dust around light fittings. Breakfast was very nice.
The hosts tried their best to make our overnight stay a good experience, but sadly the accommodation let them down. The room window catch was broken and couldn't be be shut tight, or even opened. The whole place is run down. A well cooked breakfast on a trolley was delivered to our room, with the host dressed as a chef, was a nice touch and delicious. Excellent hosts, just the property a let down.
Such lovely people!
The landlady waited for me to arrive.
I was given a room upgrade.
Clean room, lovely shower with jets to massage my back and for breakfast the bacon stood out..
The fatty bit was perfectly crispy (how I like it) and tgere was even greek yoghurt for my muesli.
Definitely will recommend !
