Great stay!

We had a great time at Casa Ying Yang. It was super clean and well equipped. The garden was perfect for relaxing and for our son to play.

Wir haben uns als Familie auf Madeira getroffen. Die tolle Unterkunft hat viel zum Gelingen beigetragen. Gute räumliche Aufteilung, genügend Platz für alle. Lovely House in Arco da Calheta

The perfect house for a holiday on Madeira! Very well equipped, everything you need was there, very lovingly designed and decorated. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The house offers enough space for 4 people and a large terrace and garden to relax. The parking lot is right outside the door. Very nice hosts! Would come back anytime.

Superbe endroit

Nous avons passé 10 jours dans le logement d'Odette, il est très propre, très bien placé pour faire le tour de l'île et proche de la plage de sable de Calheta pour profiter de la mer en fin de journée. Odette a été adorable, elle nous a conseillé sur une fête locale et a laissé des petites attentions. Le jardin est très agréable. Je recommande. attentions dans le'oogement

Wonderful one month stay.

The house was spotless when we checked in. The kitchen could have used a few more utensils, ie, sharp knives, potato peeler. Couldn’t get the coffee maker to work properly. Most of the time the water ran out the bottom of the machine.

Ein rundum gelungener Urlaub

Wir waren von dem Objekt und dem Vermieter sehr positiv überrascht. Herr Rodriguez hat uns persönlich empfangen, die Kommunikation war höflich und sehr zuvorkommend. Ein Obstiger Willkommens-Gruß mit lokalen Produkten stand schon bereit. Das Haus ist neu, modern, hochwertig eingerichten aber trotzdem praktisch, alles war sehr sauber. Die Küchen- und Haushaltsausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen, selbst eine Waschmaschine ist im Haus. Es gibt noch einen kleinen Innenhof mit der Möglichkeit hier Wäsche und Handtücher zu trocknen, dazu steht dort ein gut funktionierender Grillkamin, hier waren Kohle, Anzünder etc. alles schon vorhanden, der Grill liefert sehr gute Ergebnisse. Durch die Hanglage ist es angenehm frisch und luftig, so daß auch an den seltenen warmen Tagen durch die abendliche Abkühlung, eine angenehmer Nachtschlaf gegeben war. Verkehrstechnisch ist man vom Haus aus sehr schnell auf der Hochebene Madeiras und hat so einen guten Zugang zu den Wandergebieten, lediglich Ausflüge in den Osten der Insel sind fahrtechnisch etwas zeitintensiver. Die Fahrzeit vom Flughafen zum Haus beträgt ca. 50 Minuten, bei normaler Verkehrslage. Eine Einkaufsmöglichleit ist fußläufig in ca. 10 Minuten erreichbar, bei den doch recht steilen Straßen ist hier aber der Einsatz des PKW bei größeren Einkäufen in Erwägung zu ziehen. In Calheta befindet sich im Zentrum ( 15 Autominuten ) auch ein großer Supermarkt, in dem alles für den täglichen Bedarf zu bekommen ist. Einen Strand zu fuss zu erreichen, würde ich persönlich nicht als sinnvoll erachten, zumal sich auf Madeira generell die bewachten und gesicherten Strände anbieten. ( Calheta Beach, Porto Moniz ) Zum Erreichen dieser benötigt man auf jeden Fall einen PKW. Fazit ein gelungener Urlaub, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Schön und ruhig gelegene moderne Ferienwohnung mit allem Komfort

Sehr schöne, helle Unterkunft mit großzügigen Räumlichkeiten, modern und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Ruhige Lage, schöne Terrasse mit gepflegtem Garten, tolle Aussicht aufs Meer, insbesondere von der im Obergeschoss liegenden zusätzlichen Terrasse. Privatparkplatz direkt am Grundstück. Das Haus ist sehr hell und modern möbliert und dekoriert mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Die Ausstattung ist komplett (vor allem auch in der Küche, wo es oftmals recht spartanisch zugeht, so unsere Erfahrung) , es fehlt an nichts. João und Odete sind sehr hilfsbereite und herzliche Gastgeber, immer ansprechbar und unkompliziert im Handling. Wir haben uns in Haus und Garten sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt und den Aufenthalt hier vollauf genossen. Haus und Gastgeber sind auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen, wir würden uns jederzeit wieder dafür entscheiden. Very nice, bright accommodation with spacious rooms, modern and very tastefully furnished. Quiet location, beautiful terrace with well-kept garden, great view of the sea, especially from the additional terrace on the upper floor. Private parking directly at the property. The house is very bright and modernly furnished and decorated with a lot of attention to detail. The equipment is complete (especially in the kitchen, where it is often quite spartan, so our experience), nothing is missing. João and Odete are very helpful and cordial hosts, always approachable and uncomplicated in handling. We felt very, very comfortable in house and garden and enjoyed our stay here very much. House and host are to be recommended in any case, at any time we would decide for it again.
