“If you like modern styles, comfort and spaciousness, then you will love this property. It is very well equipped and exceptionally clean. The pool, outside patio and barbecue area was a luxury to us, even just to look out onto as it was sadly too chilly for most of our stay in November to make full use of the area. We really enjoyed the quiet rural location and the fact that you could just walk along the levadas from the house or into the small town of Ponta do Pargo. It was a great location……

“We enjoyed our stay at Tropical Villa. The villa is located uphill in a quiet neighbourhood and it was lovely to sit outside on an evening looking out to sea and watching the stars come out. We particularly appreciated the pool and the parasols (three) in the pool area. The villa was very well stocked and comfortable.”

“Just returned from a lovely holiday in the amazing Quinte Marefe. The villa is very well equipped and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. The views are lovely and especially good at sunset. There are some lovely restaurants/bars within walking distance. Roderick was the most amazing host, can’t recommend him or Quinte Marefe enough”

“Die Besitzer empfingen uns sehr freundlich. Die Villa ist sehr großzügig gebaut. Die Kombination von Ess- und Wohnzimmer ist sehr groß und bietet sehr viel Platz für viele Personen. Man kann einen Großteil der Fensterfront öffnen und hat ca. 6m Durchgang in den sehr schönen Garten. Der Ausblick ist herausragend. Es gab fast keinen Schiffsverkehr und die Flugzeuge sind nahezu nicht zu hören gewesen (nachts kein Verkehr). In jedem Raum gibt es feste Fensterläden, so dass wir abgedunkelt die……

Wer sich selbst bekochen will, muss allerdings alles, auch Salz und Pfeffer, vor Ort besorgen. Von allen Zimmern, Küche und Wohnbereich ein toller Blick auf das Meer. Die Autobahn ist zwar in Sichtweite, stört aber nicht wirklich. Die Lage ist zentral, 10 min bis zum Supermarkt und 20 min. bis in die Innenstadt von Funchal. Das Haus hat eine große Garage mit direktem Zugang……

“We had a group of 7 friends stay for 3 nights in this quiet country home tucked away in the mountains. It was a good spot for our large with beautiful landscape and great stargazing nights. Andrew communicated clearly the instructions for arriving to the house from the airport and we kept in touch as needed.
