We stayed 3 nights here and loved it. The kids and dogs loved running around in the backyard. It was safe and secure. Inside was clean and we had everything we needed. It's a nice easy walk to the shops or the beach. I highly recommend and would stay here again.

Roskell retreat

We really enjoyed staying at Roskell. Property had everything we needed. Backyard is perfect for kids and furry friends to run around. Fire pit was a highlight with our kids.It’s a bit of a walk to get to the beach though. Otherwise we had lots of fun!

Lovely cottage in great location

This cottage was exactly as described and had everything that we needed. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds were really comfortable. The street was quiet and the back yard has excellent privacy.

Beautiful cottage close to the beach

A beautiful space, well decorated, clean and with all the amenities that you need to have a wonderful time at the beach. We really loved the deco ‘theme’ of the cottage Thank you for having us.

Comfortable bungalow with large backyard close to the beach

Everything you need in quiet neighbourhood. Short walk to beautiful beach. Bowling Club with good food opposite and great Italian restaurant a short drive away.

Wonderful stay

We had a lovely little getaway in the perfect little house. It was clean and exactly as we expected - couldn't fault the house and the air con worked very well. The only thing was that there was only 1 roll of toilet paper which meant we had to quickly buy more for the trip. Overall a really nice stay in a lovely house which has a great location! :)

Everything you need in this lovely rental

My daughter and I and the school assistance dog had a relaxing stay in this pleasant property. It was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the personal touches. It is located near the beach and shops and a short drive to bigger centres. It has a fabulous big back yard and it is in a lovely neighbourhood. It is the perfect place for some time away. I can highly recommend it.

A weekend escape

Roskell Retreat was perfect. All the requirements you need to relax away. A 5 minute walk to the beach, 2 minutes to the club, and a short car trip to the shops. We enjoyed the bbq, the spa, and the peaceful surrounds, we could hear the waves. Our dog loved the back yard. We would love to go back. Sam

South Coast beach stay

Very attractively presented little cottage, small but very adequate for our needs.Owner has gone to a lot of trouble and expense to ensue a comfortable stay.Huge, secure backyard for our dog. Apart from the constant rain, we had a very pleasant time .Would like to return another time as we would like to explore the area under more favourable weather conditions.

Comfy quality

Our family of five slept comfortably. How two dogs love the big backyard! Note they are small dogs and it is very safe and secure. A short walk to the beach and a couple of eating options. The house was sparkling clean, nicely decorated, in the layout suited our family. Would be very easy to return.

Better than expected.

I had initially decided to choose one of more than several other (privately let) properties based on cost and similar degree of furnishings, location, and other factors, however after processing through the booking I saw the other costs that were to be added on and which made the overall cost more expensive, which brought us back to this property. We were so impressed with the appearance of this property and how it was managed by the property agents, from go to whoa, with everything you could want to know about the property and the location having been provided. Made our stay hassle and carefree. We are now looking for other properties/locations managed by the same property agents. Very professional outfit managing a very tidy and comfortable property.

Better than expected

Great house with everything you need. Big backyard, plenty of space inside. Wifi, board games, fully equipped and very well stocked kitchen. Fur babies will love it.

Dog friendly & white Sandy beach

My dog & I loved the house so much we extended our stay by 3 nights. Secure yard with dog door & a verandah for shelter. Clean & comfortable & everything you need. Dog friendly Callala beach is pure white sand with gentle waves & not many people around. I’ll book again & probably stay even longer. Thanks

Perfect Retreat

The house is pleasantly styled, neat and tidy. The backyard is expansive and properly fenced in. The beach nearby is beautiful and pristine, with dogs allowed off leash at certain times. The Callala Bay shops are close and there is a Club only a minute walk away. Overall a really nice getaway with all the mod cons we could have made use of if our stay was longer.

Good Accommodation, some hidden unexpected costs

The Accommodation itself was quite nice, albeit with some random rubbish laying around. Plus a few items laying near the front door or the side of the house. The lawn also needed mowing. The main drama with the listing is the inconsistencies with their charges, there was no mention of credit card fees anywhere until after we had our payment processed at which point the card was charged extra and the credit card charges appeared on the confirmation of payment. The second issue came when completing online check in, the website used mentions they will hold an auth payment as a bond and that no money will ever leave your account, however once card is provided for this they deduct $500 and hold it over as a bond. If all of this was transparent at the time of booking it would be ok but it leaves a bit of a sour taste when it is hidden.
