This is a charming older home that’s been converted into a triplex. Please keep in mind that sound can travel a bit more easily between units than in modern construction. You may hear footsteps or voices from neighboring guests. To help everyone enjoy their stay, we ask that all guests observe quiet hours from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. During this time, please keep noise to a minimum both inside your unit and in shared spaces. Thanks for your understanding and for helping us keep the home peaceful for everyone!

The apartment was a great base camp for our travels in the upper pennisula. Beds were comfortable and shower was nice. I do agree with another review about the bathtub being slippery when taking a shower. We bought a bath mat which helped tremendously.

Very nice place. Perfect for what I needed. Place was clean, and everything was new and functioning. Two suggestions: 1) Oil door to bathroom. Squeeks, and I was conscious of that/did not want to disturb upstairs occupants. 2) Put non-slip decals on tub bottom. Angle toward drain is more severe than usual, and it can get pretty slick standing on soap.

Check in was quick and easy. The kitchen made it easy to cook out breakfast and dinner and had all the basics. Our only concern was that the shower did not have any safey grab bars and was a bit slippery, making it a challenge for the older members of our party.

Convenient location

Can tell the owner put some TLC into this, as it looks very new. Beds were comfy, and had all the amenities needed. We booked the place to prep for a trip to Isle Royale which was only 40ish minutes away, and could still easily zip back over to Houghton for lots of restaurants and neat things to do.
