“place is run down and dirty . the staff is friendly but gave me the wrong room and then once they got it straight they gave someone else the same room we were in. We had just gotten back from dinner and some one had our room key to stay the night good thing we were both dressed ”

“We checked into a king suite with an in-room jacuzzi tub. It was actually very nice. The bed was awesome and extremely comfortable. The room smelled nice and had a nice window that actually opened for a nice breeze. It looked out over the marina so we could hear the gentle sway of the boats and the boat bells on the water. The jacuzzi tub was amazing; I could have lived in there forever. It was obvious that the rooms had just been upgraded and refreshed. Angela was very nice and was constantly……

“We arrived at the property to find it was closed. No advanced notice. We had called the hotel several times to alert them that we would not arrive until after 8, phone message said they were busy helping other customers or had stepped away from the desk. Had to find another hotel at 8:30 on a Friday night.”

“My family has taken several trips to Calvert county, but this is the first we've stayed at this hotel. This was, by far, my favorite place to stay. The breakfast is awesome, and my kids loved the indoor pool. The room was nice. The plants in the lobby and pool room are gorgeous. The hotel is in a perfect central location. Every staff member I dealt with was super nice.”

“The guidebook binder at the property helpfully had details about the Soul Oasis, like how to operate the heaters and fireplace, and suggested local spots and restaurants to visit. Also, the kitchen conveniently had many pots and pans and tools. The view of the water was a highlight!”

“The water is well water and it stinks, water treatment could improve that. This is more in the woods than beachy. In a rundown area. Get some Damprid to cut down on musty smell. Cute decor.”
