Great house but needs renovation

The house is spacious and has great views. The garden is beautiful, and we really enjoyed the swimming pool. However, the relatively high price is not justified given the state of the kitchen, furniture and broken swimming pool beds/sunshade umbrella. During check in the host told us you need to weat flipflops or shoes in the kitchen when you cook, otherwise you can get electric shocks. That gave us a very uncomfortable feeling letting the kids in the kitchen. It also gave me a very unpleasant feeling everytime I prepared something in the kitchen.
