「A real retreat, only minutes from Berry township. Perfectly kept gardens, options of different seating areas around the property, the highlight being the mini jetty over the dam. The Studio was fantastic, clean, very large, fireplace was great. The breakfast ingredients were left in the fridge to cook up. Bed was extremely comfortable. We did the suggested walk to the old cemetery at the top of a hill, struggled a bit getting up there, but the effort well worth the view along with the journey...

「There was no reception and no wifi available despite what the listing says. We had to book another place as I needed to check into work. Owner was very dismissive of the problem Also he sent us the wrong pin so sent us on a 30 minute round trip. Spider webs and hair were in the shower/bedroom and there’s no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Couldn’t open the window as so many spiders just outside the window 」

「Beautiful beach views. But access to the beach is not easy down a steep slope. The house was very clean but the decor is dated and the lack of a dishwasher is unacceptable as surely common place in a family home. The entrance to the property from the street is dangerous as the gate has to be manually opened while the car is still in the way of traffic. On our last day we were awoken at 7am by heavy duty construction next door which went on all day. The host said he was unaware of construction...
