“This was such a charming and lovely cabin! The hosts were so gracious and even decorated for the holiday! It was everything that I could’ve wanted and more! A storm hit on our final day and they were so kind and had us for an extra night to ensure that we had a safe drive home!! Very clean, fast wifi, salt for the driveway, plenty of water jugs for drinking water, and lots of clean towels. All of the little things really do matter when you’re staying out in the woods! ”

“The cabin was so cozy and the perfect setting for our family to gather for Thanksgiving! We love how close it is to State Parks and feels so secluded and Peggy's bread and muffins were so delicious! We're so grateful for the memories we made at Cedarwood Lodge! ”

“The Cabin was clean and spacious. Perfect for a couple. The outdoor space was private and we enjoyed a nice camp fire with the wood provided. We were close to the Elk Visitors Center. Saw the Elk heard twice at the Viewing Area during our stay. We will stay there again next time we visit Benezette. Highly recommend the Hillbilly Hilton.”

“The host was very response to our email questions. Stayed in touch though out our stay. The place was great, all bedrooms were very comfortable and the living area was very comfortable and spacious. We went in the winter and they just had a major snowfall the week before we arrived and the cross country skiing in the woods behind them and at local parks was great. Planning on renting again next year.”
