“cool historic property. Just know that your room is going to face a busy major Fargo street, regardless of which room you are assigned. The rooms have no sound proofing. (more on that later). Fargo is a major motorcycle city in the summer, so, traffic and loud bikes, until around sunset, are it seems almost constant. Back to the noise. Staying on the 2nd level, the first level with guest rooms, the sound of the occupant in the room above me was also quite irritating. Whoever had that room……

“The gym is extremely nice for a hotel gym. The bar was quick and makes excellent cocktails. Great location. ”

“Great lobby and hangout space . Rooms are nice and clean. Only decaf coffee in room, had to pay for coffee at the café. No breakfast included. Café food was good,but pricey. On the first floor, so loud in hallways and from the room above us, especially on a Monday night.”

The lamp shade was non existent, the floor was not even vacuumed, the outside look like a bad movie. The front desk gal had a sign up stating no rooms would be sold to locals, I had never seen that so I curiously asked about it. She said they had a problem of locals trashing rooms and prostitution. Then I walk into this room, it was so beyond unacceptable, in the……

“It was an awesome place to stay. Would stay there again.”

“Staff was excellent. Didn’t like people off the street coming in to swim. We didn’t feel comfortable with some in the pool. Hot tube was excellent. I wouldn’t pit towels all over, keep on shelve. Didn’t know if someone was sitting there. Room was excellent.”

“Sadly our room was not cleaned thoroughly—our bathroom had used towels hanging in it and toothpaste on the vanity. There was no shampoo in the container hanging in the shower. The bathroom needed obvious repairs done as well. The bedspreads had questionable stains on them. When I told the lady at the front desk about the bathroom she did apologize and stated she “told them to finish cleaning that room yesterday.” No discounts offered or anything to try to make it right.”

“The property smelled musty and there was visible dusty and dirt. I also purchased a Celsius from the front desk with a $20 bill and they didn’t have change. He said he would bring it to my room later but never did. I left without it and had to call and ask them to return it to me. I had several “pet fees” on my bill, though I didn’t have a pet. They don’t me someone witnessed me with a dog. It was quite an ordeal. Eventually they returned my $15 change to my daughter who lives in the area, and……

“The hotel is being remodeled, but it did not interfere with my stay. My room was clean, the staff was helpful, and my nights sleep was excellent. The breakfast the next morning was beter than expected at a hotel. I was unsure when I saw that there was some renovation going on when I stopped, but I am glad I did. I had a very nice stay and would gladly stop in again. Also, very reasonable price!”

“The room itself was clean. However the fixtures (dressers, counters, faucets, etc) looked and functioned like returns from Home Depot. The outside door lock was non-functional, so anyone could enter the hotel.”

“The pictures didn't look like what we encountered. Door clothes hanger fell off twice. THw shower curtain rod was bent so shower curtain always slidmopen while taking a shower.”
