  • Standing under the Natural Bridge in Slade Kentucky. Its namesake natural bridge is the centerpiece of the park. The natural sandstone arch spans 78 ft (24 m) and is 65 ft (20 m) high. The natural process of weathering formed the arch over millions of years. The park is approximately 2,300 acres (9 km2) of which approximately 1,200 acres (5 km2) is dedicated by the Office of Kentucky Nature Preserves as a nature preserve. #Nature

  • This is sky bridge. The most massive arch in Red River. it spans over a hundred feet and about 50 feet in the air. Probably the most famous arch in Red River, it has been seen in movies. Many astro-photographers flock here because of it's structure and clear skyline. If you get a chance, the trail is only .8 miles and very much worth it. You first walk across the top of the arch, it is so big that you are halfway across before you notice your not just on a narrow rock path. then you circle around to be under the arch.

Anniversary

This was the perfect spot to spend our anniversary. We love to ride side-by-side and there is lots of places there to ride along the Daniel Boone by also Hollerwood and you can go through Nada Tunnel and go explore natural Bridge. The cabin is perfect and quaint and would be awesome for a couple.

Peaceful place

The cabin was quaint and cozy and had what we needed. We were able to bring our 2 dogs with permission ahead of time. The bed was very comfortable. It was relaxing and every evening we were able to take the dogs for a little walk around the area before retiring for the night. For a couple I would recommend this cabin and I will definitely return.

Absolutely perfect!

We had such a nice time staying in the cabin and exploring the area. The cabin doesn’t feel small thanks to the cute deck and high angled ceiling. It was just the right size.We had some trouble finding it because we got there after dark and our cell service was spotty. But, once there, we realized how conveniently located it was to everything we planned to do. Overall, we’d absolutely stay again!
