This inviting and modern 2 bedroom apartment in Adina Serviced Apartments in Kingston is the perfect base while visiting Canberra. It`s within walking distance to Kingston and Manuka - two restaurant districts - the lake, and the parliamentary triangle which showcases Canberra`s major cultural attractions.
NOTE: Check-in is strictly between 3 pm - 6 pm on Monday to Saturday, and 3 pm - 5:30 pm on Sunday as the complex is locked at night and you will not be able to access the keys. No option for late check-in.
This apartment is on the 3rd level of the building and has elevator access for ease of coming and going. The apartment`s proximity to many of Canberra`s attractions - including Manuka Oval, Kingston foreshore, Questacon, Parliament House and the National Gallery of Australia - makes it the perfect place to base yourself for your time in the capital.
When you`re not out and about, relax in the pool, spa or sauna. Or just bask in the glorious afternoon sun on the balcony.
We provide a simple selection of food for breakfast such as muesli, milk, coffee and tea.
Bedrooms:
Both bedrooms have queen-sized beds topped with freshly laundered professional and pressed linen. Note that we only have one wardrobe space - it`s in bedroom 1.
Bathroom:
The bathroom is spacious and includes a laundry and a washer/dryer. We provide complimentary towels, toilet paper, shampoo and body wash.
Kitchen:
Please make use of the fully-equipped kitchen. In it you`ll find:
- fridge/freezer
- stovetop/oven
- microwave
- crockery and cutlery
- We stock a simple selection of food for breakfast such as milk, coffee and tea.
Living Room:
The living room has a comfortable couch and TV that you can use when you`re relaxing in the apartment. Note that we don`t provide Netflix, YouTube and other online streaming platforms subscriptions so you will have to use your own account. TV has access to local channels.
Laundry:
Washer-dryer combo is available for your use, as well as an iron and ironing board.
Balcony:
There is a lovely north-facing balcony so if the weather suits you can enjoy your morning tea outside while soaking in the sunshine!
Parking:
There is a parking space at 15 Tench Street, around 500M to the right of the apartment building.
COMMON AREAS & AMENITIES:
You will have access to the building`s BBQ Area, pool, spa and sauna throughout your stay.
The common areas are managed by the building management and can be closed without prior notice to owners. We try our best to get the most accurate information to update the listing description as much as possible. In this regard, please check for building announcements upon your arrival to confirm the availability of common areas.
Check-in details will be sent two days before your arrival. Access codes will be provided 4 hours before check-in to keep your booking secure.
Only 1 guest key set is provided. Please take care not to lose the keys as their replacement will incur a fee. Losing the key set or leaving it inside the apartment will incur a minimum of $355 charge.
I am available at any time to assist if there is an issue. Guests will otherwise be left in peace to enjoy their stay.
The apartment is walking distance to Kingston shops which is a block filled with restaurants and cafes as well as an IGA. Then in the other direction you`ll find Manuka - another block of restaurants and cafes. There is also a Coles if needed.
You have access to almost everything you need in walking distance. Even Parliament is less than 30 minutes walking. Canberra Airport is a 10 minute drive as well as the CBD.
Any violation of our no-party rule will result in a non-negotiable $2000 penalty, in addition to any damages.
Please do not flush wet wipes, paper towels, or sanitary products. These cause blockages in the sewer system. Dispose in the bin provided.
Before your reservation can be confirmed, please note that guest verification is required. Due to local council regulations, bookings remain pending until the verification process is completed. If verification is not completed within 24 hours, the booking may be automatically cancelled.
Please also review the key house rules below:
1. Check-in / Check-out
- Check-in is after 3:00 PM and check-out is before 10:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available if arranged in advance. Unauthorised late departures may incur a $110 per hour fee.
2. No Smoking or Pets
- Smoking and pets are not permitted anywhere on the property. Breaches will incur a minimum $400 fee plus any additional cleaning costs. Registered service animals are exempt where required by law.
3. Cleaning
- The cleaning fee covers normal turnover cleaning and linen. Please leave the property in a reasonable and tidy condition. Excessive mess may incur additional cleaning charges (minimum $50).
4. Registered Guests Only
- Only the guests listed on the booking may stay at the property. If you are booking on behalf of others (e.g., business or government travel), please let us know in advance.
5. No Parties or Events
- Parties or gatherings are strictly prohibited. The number of guests must not exceed the number booked. Visitors must leave by 10:00 PM, and quiet hours apply after this time. Breaches may result in cancellation of the stay and a $2,000 penalty.
6. Children
- Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times, as the property is not child-proofed.
