“The house and property were absolutely beautiful—very clean and perfect for a family stay. The only minor feedback would be that the kitchen could use a few more oven trays and dishes. We were also woken at 7am by the gardener who turned on the sprinklers and then began mowing the lawn. While we completely understand the need for property maintenance, it would have been appreciated if we had been notified in advance.”

“The place was filthy, stains on the carpet dirty windows. Broken doors & the garden was over grown so couldn't use it. Also 2 cars in garden that host said were being moved, but after looking properly in to it they have been there for months. Photos used in the advert on website are years old, from when the property was sold 2 years ago, so very misleading. Had no communication from host. Would not recommend staying here at all. We were very disappointed.”

“This property was an absolute disaster. It was old and shabby in the extreme. We had to leave immediately upon arrival as there was an awful smell inside. I discovered the source of the smell in a kitchen bin which had not been emptied. It contained a rotting dog bone and meat offcuts covered in maggots. The owner refused to take responsibility for it and refused to refund us, making every excuse under the sun why he could not. The entire property was old, every surface covered in dust, dirt and……
