"Free parking in the Old Montreal is unheard of so it’s a huge bonus, especially since it comes with in and out privileges. The hotel itself is average and seems unfinished with some construction going on and poor sound insulation. We had a one bedroom suite on 2nd floor right next to stairs and elevator and could hear people talking through the door and walking above us. We asked to be moved and were told that everything was booked even though hotel seemed empty on Sunday and Monday nights. The apartment itself is adequate but has no AC in the bedroom and no cooking supplies in the kitchen including paper towels or salt but comes with decent storage in the bedroom and ample shower with nice bath products. The bed was comfortable and so was the sofa in the living area. Internet was also very fast which was an asset for working remotely. Finally, there was no view from our suite 207 as it was facing a wall so it was relatively dark inside. Hope this helps other guests decide where to stay and what to consider."

"The staff was very helpful with our late arrival. However, the room was very disappointing. There were stains on the blankets, blue liquid dripping out of the fridge, and the window shook the whole night. There were lots of noises from the building outside of our room. We were only in the room for about 9 hours so I tried to ignore those issues. When we went to continental breakfast, I noticed there were paper plates to be used rather than real plates and utensils. The staff there was also super friendly. But the food was very disappointing. I will not be returning. "

"Very well placed hotel for the theatre district in Buffalo as well as a few train stops down from where the Sabers play hockey. Great hotel and an awesome price!!"

"The staff at this hotel are tremendously, friendly and helpful. We loved how they kept the granite façade of the old Genesee bank as part of their remodel. Some aspects of the hotel show their age, and signage could be more clear for things like the workout room, but overall lovely. The restaurant was great as well, and although my fingerling potatoes were a little bit too salty, otherwise the food was excellent. We will be back if we need to visit that part of Buffalo again."

"The place was perfect. Nice clean place with lots of room for large groups. The area is quiet and close to restaurants and a short drive to downtown. Check in and out was made easy by the owners and responded quickly to all our questions. I would honestly give it more than 5 stars if possible. It has everything you need. "This property was very outdated, unappealing walk up which I’ll chalk up to winter, hallway roof stains, very worn out noisy uneven wooden floors, old rusted vents, bad lighting with old shower. I feel bad for writing this, but it was really unexpected. The beds were the newest things and were clean and slept well. The couch felt worn, living room table wasn’t clean and overall the place just didn’t feel clean. Some may think it’s vintage, but I wouldn’t recommend. Owner needs to update. "
